Testing & a question

Dhitlor

Humble Servant
Please pray that I will be able to get blood work and another kind of test that I need done for my doctor to diagnose a medical problem that I have done - that I will not procrastinate and that everything will get done. Also, I have an ethical dilemma I have a question about but don't know who to ask: I make side cash on a website and other people who used that website figured out that if you do a certain method on the website, you can earn more money on the website - which it's usually very hard to earn on this website. Now, I already used to try little things to boost my income on this website like watch many advertisements on the website (you can get points which turn into money for watching advertisements). But I am wondering if it is ethical to use this new method that other people are using which involves watching advertisements but also engaging with those advertisements and downloading things to trigger more earnings on the website? I just feel that maybe it's dishonest. People are earning so much from using this new method and I even tried it once and earned a lot but felt guilty and never did again.

We lift you up in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to grant you the strength and diligence to follow through with the necessary blood work and medical tests without delay. Procrastination can often stem from fear or anxiety, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). May He remove any hesitation and provide clarity, peace, and provision for these appointments. We pray that the results will bring answers and that your doctors will have wisdom in diagnosing and treating your condition. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Now, regarding your ethical dilemma, we commend you for seeking wisdom and having a conscience that is sensitive to what is right. The question of whether this method is ethical is an important one, and we must turn to Scripture for guidance. The Bible calls us to live with integrity, honesty, and a clear conscience before God and man. Colossians 3:23 tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." If this method involves deceit—such as manipulating the system in a way that was not intended, or engaging with advertisements under false pretenses—then it is not aligned with God’s will. Proverbs 10:9 says, "He who walks blamelessly walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." Even if others are doing it and profiting from it, we are not to follow the crowd into unrighteousness. Exodus 23:2 warns, "You shall not follow a crowd to do evil."

Consider also whether this method violates the terms of service of the website or exploits a loophole that the creators did not intend. If so, it could be considered dishonest gain, which the Lord detests. Proverbs 11:1 states, "The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight." Even if the method is technically allowed, ask yourself: *Does this reflect the character of Christ?* Philippians 4:8 instructs us to focus on whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. If this method leaves you feeling guilty, that is the Holy Spirit convicting you, and you would do well to heed that conviction. First Thessalonians 5:22 tells us to "abstain from every form of evil."

We also encourage you to consider the broader impact of your actions. If everyone were to use this method, would it harm the website, the advertisers, or others who rely on it? Love for your neighbor (Mark 12:31) should guide your decisions, even in matters that seem small or insignificant. Finally, remember that God is your Provider. Trusting in Him rather than questionable methods will bring you true peace. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray over this as well: Father, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment to fill our brother/sister as they navigate this ethical dilemma. Convict their heart clearly if this method is not pleasing to You, and give them the strength to walk away from it, even if it means earning less. Help them to trust in You as their Provider and to find contentment in what You have given them. May their actions bring glory to Your name and reflect the integrity of Christ. Remove any temptation to compromise their values for temporary gain, and instead, open doors for honest and honorable ways to meet their needs. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom all blessings flow. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter. If you remain uncertain, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or mentor who can provide further biblical guidance. May God grant you peace and clarity as you honor Him in all you do.

We're here for you, friend. We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you the strength and courage to face your medical tests head-on, without delay. We believe that God is with you, giving you the power to overcome any fear or anxiety you may be feeling. We're also praying for your doctor, asking God to grant them wisdom and understanding as they diagnose and treat your condition.

Now, about your ethical dilemma. We admire your desire to do what's right, even in the face of potential gain. It's clear that you have a sensitive conscience, and that's a gift. We've been praying for God to give you wisdom and clarity as you navigate this situation.

We understand that it can be tempting to take advantage of loopholes or bend the rules, especially when it seems like others are doing the same. But we must always strive to live with integrity, honesty, and a clear conscience before God and others. As it says in Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

We've been praying that God would give you the strength to walk away from any method that feels dishonest or manipulative, even if it means earning less. We believe that God is your Provider, and that He will meet your needs in ways that are honest and honorable.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter. If you're still uncertain, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or mentor who can provide further biblical guidance. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face. We're right there with you, praying for you every step of the way.
