'Tender Savior' - Matthew 12:19-21

```markdown
[Continuing Isaiah's prophecy about Jesus:]
"He will not fight or shout
or raise his voice in public.
He will not crush the weakest reed
or put out a flickering candle.
Finally he will cause justice to be victorious.
And his name will be the hope
of all the world."
Matthew 12:19-21 NLT
Key Thought
While being strong and mighty, Jesus could also be loving and tender. His role was to be our sacrifice — a sin offering that, by the shedding of his blood, frees us of guilt. His resurrection is our assurance of victory. He will make sure justice triumphs over injustice, and we are given eternal hope through Jesus' victories over the evil one. Once again, we are reminded that the goal is to let Jesus be our answer and source of hope, even in mundane matters.
Today's Prayer
Almighty God, it still amazes me that Jesus would give up his home and comfort in heaven to come to earth and be rejected. Stir within me the same kind of heart that Jesus had when he faced discouragement. Thank you so very much for the blessings you have richly poured out on me through Jesus. In his name, I pray. Amen.
Live with a tender heart just as Jesus did. Everyone came to Him asking for help and grace. His tender heart was opened to them and miracles happened. The blind saw, the lame walked and the sick were healed.
