Teeth and need x-rays

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Teeth pain and need x-rays they're not sending me my X-rays and have appointment next week. Help Jesus don't know what to do should I wait or file with the board. I'm very afraid to have this unscrupulous dentist touch my teeth but must redo implant right, have much pain by the very costly bridge and now other side needs molar to be recrowned Jesus Help and protect for Justice is yours, amen

We hear your cry and we join with you before the Lord in this time of pain, fear and uncertainty, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus for help, for He is near to all who call on Him in truth.

We know how distressing dental pain can be, especially when there is costly work involved and you feel vulnerable and unsure who to trust. The Lord sees your suffering and your anxiety about what to do next. He is close to the brokenhearted, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us. We also remember 2 Timothy 1:7 that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, so we do not have to be ruled by fear even when we feel very afraid.

We want to encourage you with both spiritual and practical wisdom. You have a right to your own records and X-rays, they are part of your health information, and it is reasonable and lawful to request them in writing and to keep a copy of that request and any response. If the office has not sent them, we encourage you to make a clear written request, by email or letter, asking for a complete copy of your X-rays and chart to be provided to you or sent to another office, and to document the dates you have asked. At the same time we encourage you not to act hastily out of fear or anger. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Ask the Lord for clear wisdom about whether to wait until your appointment next week, to seek a second opinion first from another trusted dentist, or to pursue a formal complaint.

If you are very afraid to have this dentist touch your teeth again, please listen to that caution. It is wise to seek another qualified dentist for a second opinion, especially with a painful bridge, an implant that needs to be redone, and a molar that needs recrowning. Bring your X-rays if you obtain them, bring a trusted friend or family member with you, and ask questions until you understand the options, costs, and risks. Filing with the dental board is a serious step that can be appropriate if you have been denied access to your records or have experienced unethical care, but it is often wise to first make a documented good faith effort to obtain your records and to get another professional evaluation, so you have clarity and peace before you decide. Whatever you decide, do it with a calm and documented approach, not from panic.

We also hear your heart for justice, and we agree that justice belongs to the Lord. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust Him to see what is unscrupulous and to protect you and to bring what is right into the light, while we act with honesty and integrity.

We lift you up together in prayer now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one to You who is in much dental pain and anxiety. Lord, You know the pain in the bridge and the implant and the molar that needs care, and we ask for Your mercy and healing touch, for You are Yahweh who heals us as in Exodus 15:26 and You heal all our diseases as in Psalm 103:3. We ask You to ease the pain, to calm the fear, and to guard this body that You created. We pray Philippians 4:6-7 over this heart, that in nothing to be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let requests be made known to You, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, grant wisdom for the next steps, whether to wait for the appointment next week, to seek another dentist, or to file with the board. Show clearly what is right and open doors to obtain the X-rays and records without further delay. Protect from any further harm or unnecessary treatment, and lead to a dentist who is skilled, honest, and compassionate. We ask for justice in Your perfect way and timing, and for protection from exploitation. Let Your will be done and let this one feel Your presence and guidance, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We trust You to strengthen, help, and uphold now. In the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We have been holding your note before the Lord and we are so sorry you are in this place. Ongoing tooth pain is wearing in itself, and when it comes with a costly bridge, an implant that needs to be redone, and another molar needing work, plus not being able to get your own x-rays before next week's appointment, it makes sense you feel afraid and torn about whether to wait or to take a formal step.

What feels most urgent is the pain and having to decide about letting a dentist you do not trust do more work. You deserve care that is safe and respectful, and you do have a right to your records.

One steady way to advocate for yourself right now is to put the request in writing while you get care for the pain. You could send a short dated email or letter to the office asking for a complete copy of your x-rays and records, keep a copy of what you sent, and note the date. If you are able before next week, a second opinion from another dentist about the bridge, the implant and the molar can give you clearer information before any work is done. It also helps to bring a trusted friend or family member with you to listen, ask questions and write down what is said. For the pain itself, please reach out promptly to a dental or medical professional alongside prayer, rather than trying to wait it out alone.

Father, we bring this pain and fear to You. Please bring relief, and give clear wisdom for each next decision and honest, careful hands for this dental care. Cover and guide in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry concerning this pain and perplexity has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. To suffer in the body, to face costly and painful work upon the teeth, to feel afraid of the hand that should heal, and to be uncertain whether to wait or to seek redress, is a heavy trial. The Lord sees the pain by the bridge, the need of the implant and the crown, and the withholding of that which you need for your care.

Hear what the Lord saith to His people in such an hour, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in Gods garden, and it is not merely the preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God when it makes us doubt the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Yet the Lord knows our frame and that fear will assail us, therefore He gives His promise in many ways to chase fear away, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God.

You ask what to do about the x rays and the appointment and the question of justice. Wisdom is mans true path, and the price of wisdom is above rubies. Where shall this wisdom be found, but in trust in God and in looking unto Jesus. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. Therefore seek the Lord first for a calm and clear mind, and then act with sober prudence. Ask plainly and in writing for what is rightfully yours, keep a faithful record of all that has been done and said, and seek godly and wise counsel from another trusted professional and from those who can advise you in an orderly way, that you may not act in haste nor neglect what is just. Vengeance and justice belong unto the Lord, and He will not overlook what is unscrupulous, but He would have His children walk in peace and truth as much as lieth in them.

May the Lord grant you relief from pain, steady your heart, and guide your steps in the coming days.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou hast promised to help the worm Jacob, and Thou art with Thy people in all their afflictions. Look in mercy upon this Thy child who suffers pain and fear. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body, ease the pain, and give skill and integrity to those who provide care. Grant wisdom to know whether to wait or to act, and to do all things honestly and in order. Remove tormenting fear and give trust in Thy promised strength, for Thou hast redeemed Thy people and Thou sayest Fear not. Keep this one in Thy peace, guard the mouth and the body from further harm, and let justice be done according to Thy perfect will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sorrows and who ever liveth to intercede for us. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain and fear have been heard and we have lifted you up in prayer before the Lord who sees your suffering and knows your distress.

To live with constant pain in your mouth, to face costly and difficult work like an implant and a bridge and now another crown, and to feel that you cannot trust the hands that are meant to help you, is a heavy burden. It is understandable that you feel afraid and torn about what to do next, whether to wait for your appointment or to seek help from the dental board. God does not despise this fear and trembling, but draws near with compassion to those who are shaken and in pain.

We have prayed that Jesus Christ would bring relief to your pain, give you protection and wisdom, and guide every step you take. We have asked Him to calm your heart, to ease the inflammation and suffering in your teeth and gums, and to lead you to a dentist who is skilled, honest, and careful, who will do this work rightly.

In matters like this it is right both to trust God and to act with careful wisdom. The Lord has given lawful order for our good, and it is not wrong to use it. Your x-rays and records belong to you and you have the right to request them. If they have not been sent, make the request clearly in writing, keep a copy, note the date, and ask for them to be sent to you or to another office. Keep a record of all payments, treatment notes, and your pain. If you can, seek a second opinion from another reputable dentist before any further costly work is done, and bring a trusted friend or family member with you to your appointments to help you listen and ask questions.

Filing with the board is not an act of revenge, for justice belongs to the Lord, but it can be a way to seek accountability and to protect others if a practice is truly unscrupulous. You do not need to decide in haste out of fear. If your appointment is next week and you still do not have your x-rays, you can wait a short time while making a firm written request, and if they continue to withhold what is yours or you feel unsafe, then it is reasonable to seek counsel and to make a report to the proper authority. Above all, do not let fear force you to remain under care where you feel unsafe. It is wise to pause and get another evaluation before allowing further work on the implant and bridge.

We pray that God will give you clear direction in this decision, provide for the financial burden, and let justice be done in His way and time. May He guard you from further harm, grant favor as you seek your records, and give you peace that is greater than all anxiety. We will continue to pray for healing, for honest help, and for rest from this long trial.

May the Lord be your comfort and your defender, and may He bring you to health and to peace through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
