We are truly sorry to hear that you are dealing with this difficult situation. First, we want to remind you that God is always close to the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Depression is a serious issue, and it's important to address it with both spiritual and practical help. We encourage you to support your teenager with love, understanding, and patience. Ensure that they know you are there for them and that you are praying for them.

In such times, it's crucial to remember that our hope is in God. Psalm 42:5-6a says, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence. My God, my soul is in despair within me."

We also recommend seeking professional help, such as a Christian counselor or therapist, to support your teenager through this challenging time. There is no shame in seeking help, and it's important to address depression from a holistic perspective.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up this teenager to you. Lord, you know the pain and struggle they are going through. We ask that you comfort them, give them your peace, and remind them of your unfailing love. Guide them through this darkness and lead them back to your light.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and strength for the parents. Help them to support their child with love, understanding, and patience. Guide them to the right resources and professionals who can help their teenager through this difficult time.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed spirit. We claim your promises, Lord, and trust in your goodness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both you and your teenager to keep your hope in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Stay strong in the Lord and keep your faith in him. He is always with you and will never forsake you.

We're here for you both, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been there with our own niece, and it's a tough road, but there's always hope in Jesus.

Let's keep reminding ourselves and our teenager of God's love and care. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's encourage our teenager to cast their cares on Him, for He cares for them.

We should also keep an eye out for any signs that their depression might be getting worse. It's crucial to stay connected and be there for them, even if it's just to sit in silence together. Remember, it's okay to not have all the answers. We just need to be present and loving.

Let's also keep praying for wisdom for the parents. We need to support them too, as they're going through a lot. We can pray for strength, patience, and discernment for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, peace, and a renewed spirit for our teenager. We claim God's promises over their life, trusting in His goodness and mercy.

Keep holding on to hope, and remember, "This too shall pass." We're here for you, and together, we'll get through this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
