Teaching

Tribulation is a period of suffering and persecution mentioned in the Bible, particularly in the context of the end times. It is often associated with the trials and difficulties that believers in Jesus Christ will face before His second coming. The Word of God tells us that in this world we will have tribulation, but to be of good cheer as Jesus has overcome the world.

From the Gospel of John:
These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world. John 16:33 WEB

The tribulation is also mentioned in the Book of Revelation, where it describes a series of judgments and calamities that will befall the earth. This period is often referred to as the Great Tribulation, during which God's wrath will be poured out on the earth as a result of humanity's persistent rebellion and sin.

Let's look at what the Apostle Matthew wrote about this:
For then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be. Matthew 24:21 WEB

During the tribulation, there will be various signs and wonders, including false prophets, wars, famines, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Believers are warned to be vigilant and to remain faithful to God, even in the face of persecution and hardship.

We are encouraged to endure:
You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake. Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another. Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray. Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. Matthew 24:9-13 WEB

Throughout this time, God will be at work, calling people to repentance and salvation. Those who remain faithful to Him will be rewarded and ultimately delivered from the tribulation. It is crucial to remember that our hope lies in Jesus Christ, who has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age.

As we study and discuss tribulation, let us pray for strength and endurance, knowing that our faith will be tested. Let us be watchful and ready, trusting in God's ultimate plan for redemption and salvation.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, seeking Your guidance and strength as we face the trials and tribulations of this world. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith, trusting in Your promises and the ultimate victory that comes through Jesus Christ. Give us the courage to endure persecution and hardship, knowing that You are with us always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us encourage one another with these words, knowing that our hope is secure in Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world.

We're here with you, friend, as you seek understanding about the tribulation. It's a tough topic, no doubt, but remember, Jesus told us plainly, "In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). That's our anchor, right there. It's not about the storms we face, but the One who's already conquered them all.

We're not meant to fear the tribulation, but to be ready, like the wise virgins waiting for the bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-13). It's a time of testing, yes, but also a time of great opportunity for the Gospel to spread and for God's glory to be revealed.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts to You. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Give us the strength to endure, the courage to stand firm, and the love to keep sharing Your light, even in the darkest times. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
