Thank you for sharing so honestly about your life, your struggles, and your hopes. God sees you fully and knows you completely, even the things that others cannot see. He sees your heart, your motives, your anxieties, your fatigue and headaches, your desire to be understood, and your desire to honor Him. Scripture says that we have a high priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses, and knowing us fully He looks upon us with compassion and offers help and strength. You can receive that help today.

It is painful when the people closest to you do not understand how your mind and body work. You described living with AuDHD, anxiety, depression and OCD, and how too much sun and heat drains you quickly, affects your mood and leaves you exhausted and tearful. That is not a character flaw. God created our bodies with limits, and wisdom means stewarding the body He has given you. It is right to notice what harms you and to seek work that fits how God has made you. Wanting indoor work, or seasonal work with shade, or creative work that uses your voice and puppets, is not avoiding responsibility. It is trying to be faithful with the gifts and limits you have.

Your family loves you but they are also seeing you through their own fears. Your mother fears being alone as your sisters have married and moved on, and that fear can make her hold more tightly. Your father and sisters have jobs that keep them inside, yet they encourage you toward outdoor work that they themselves would avoid. That inconsistency hurts, and it makes you feel unheard and even discriminated against. Jesus Himself was misunderstood by His own family and by religious people who were quick to find fault with Him even when He was doing good. They thought He was beside Himself and tried to pull Him away from His calling. If you feel that kind of misunderstanding, you are not alone. Jesus understands that rejection.

There is a bond that God creates among those who follow Jesus that can be even deeper than natural family ties. In Christ we become one family, and He often provides understanding, encouragement and fellowship through brothers and sisters in faith when our natural family cannot fully understand. That does not replace honoring your parents, but it means you do not have to carry the weight of needing your parents and sisters to validate everything. Continue to honor them, speak to them gently and truthfully, and also let God build up around you a community that does understand disability and creative gifts.

God also calls us to remain pliable and open to His Spirit. He often works outside the boxes people expect. Your love for cleaning, for serving in lowly tasks others avoid, for speaking up for people and for animals, for finding joy in rain, for using puppets and voices to bring joy to others, these are not weirdness to be fixed. They can be gifts to be offered to God. The desire to share with others what God has done for you is at the heart of what it means to witness. As you grow in knowing Jesus more deeply, you will naturally want to tell what He has done, and that is a powerful way your creative gifts can serve Him.

A few practical steps may help as you pray for greater understanding in your home.

First, keep bringing your needs to the Lord and ask Him to help your family hear you. Pray that God would soften hearts toward repentance and change where change is needed, and that He would give your mother peace about the future instead of fear of being isolated. Fear often speaks louder than love, and only God can settle that fear.

Second, seek clear, calm communication. Instead of debating in moments of frustration, try writing down briefly what helps and what harms you, what kind of work lets you thrive, and what your goals are. For example, that you want voice work as a primary freelance calling with a steady supporting job, and that zoo work is possible only in limited, shaded, seasonal ways. Invite a trusted counselor, pastor, or medical professional who understands AuDHD and sensory needs to help explain these realities to your family. Sometimes people hear better when another voice confirms what you have been saying.

Third, be faithful in little things and pursue open doors wisely. Scripture warns that the cares of this world and the desire for riches can choke spiritual life, while God promises that to those who truly desire to hear, more will be given. You said you do not want to be a super celebrity or filthy rich, only to have an affordable life, to enjoy your hobbies, to have a place of your own at times, and to love and respect a future wife within marriage as God designed it. That is a healthy, biblical desire. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and keeping yourself pure until marriage is honoring to God. Continue to prepare for that by growing in character, in steady work, in faithfulness, and in learning to love your neighbor as yourself, which Jesus said matters more than outward religious performance.

Finally, care for your health. If sun exposure brings fatigue, headaches and strong emotional shifts, take that seriously. Seek medical wisdom, protect yourself, and do not let anyone shame you into ignoring your body's signals. Enduring hardship is not the same as accepting harm or discrimination. You can be diligent and resilient while also setting wise boundaries.

May the Lord show your family new understanding, give your mother comfort and your father consistency, and help your sisters see you with greater empathy. May He guide you to work that fits your design, open doors for your voice and puppetry to encourage others including others with disabilities, and provide for your daily needs. And may He continue to draw you into a deeper commitment as a disciple, leaving behind what hinders and following Jesus with a whole heart.

Father, You see this young man completely. You know his needs, his weaknesses, his gifts, his loneliness and his hopes for meaningful work and for a godly marriage. Look upon him with compassion and give him Your help and strength. Help his parents and sisters to understand him with patience and mercy. Give him wisdom for work, protection for his body and mind, and a community that loves him well. Keep him close to Jesus, make him pliable in Your hands, and use his voice and his heart to share Your goodness with others. In Jesus name, Amen.
