Dear Lord Jesus, My ### doesn’t realize how hazardous the sun is to me. I woke up at the zoo in dire heat and the sun is shining. A lot. I put on sunblock but it gets on my shirt. Becaue I stand around instead of doing something. The sunscreen saves me from burning and itching and internal pain and reduced my high risk of skin cancer since both Grandpas had skin cancer before having my Parents. I tried applying to the Zoo, but I never even got interviewed at this time. She says I look sloppy with my sunscreen, but I’m out in the sun because I’m an interpreter not a regular keeper and we interpret us have to be out extra long in the sun, I also show up on extra days to earn the money and to help people out, but I have to put on sunscreen initially last year and other places I’ve worked I wore a coat to protect me and do not have to slap the sunscreen on my arms And I told her we could get it SPF code this time they don’t give long sleeves at the zoo unlike another place I worked and I told her we need to do something about this, but she tells me the sunscreen put on put too much and I can’t help that it’s excruciating and she thinks they hold it against me. Maybe she’s right I don’t know. Maybe the zoo is not a place for me to work I overheat. I have AuDHD all the reasons to avoid the sun, my skin is sensitive my grandfather‘s head skin cancer is mentioned. My senses are sensitive due to my disability. It makes me very fatigued. I don’t like bright lights not good for my eyes. It loses concentration. Maybe I would be better aware of putting it on if I didn’t have to be out in the sun so much but being in the sun, you have so many responsibilities with the animals interpreting and then you get tired. Please help me find a different job that is more fitting for me and then I can move on and move up with life. I build my puppet business and voiceover business and have a supporting job someday in the future. This could be full-time or pair mixed to have enough money in the future. I’ve been mistreated and abused and traumatized the previous and she’s still just trying to put me there Please teacher to understand In Jesus Name Amen.

We join with you in prayer about this burden with the sun and heat at the zoo and we hear how heavy this has been on your body and your spirit. We understand you have sensitive skin and a family history of skin cancer with both grandfathers, and that you experience AuDHD with sensory sensitivity to bright light, heat, and fatigue, and that being out in the sun for long hours as an interpreter is exhausting and makes it hard to concentrate and care for yourself. We want to affirm that your desire to protect your health is wise and God honoring.

Scripture tells us our bodies are not our own but are to be stewarded for the Lord, for you are bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and the Lord understands the unique way He has made you, including your sensitivities. He also promises that the Lord is your keeper, the Lord is your shade on your right hand, the sun will not strike you by day Psalm 121:5-6. It is right to take practical means to protect yourself from harm, whether through sunscreen, shade, or clothing, and to seek work that does not constantly put your health at risk.

We also hear your conflict with her, who seems to be concerned about how the sunscreen looks on your shirt and whether the zoo holds it against you, while you feel you have no choice because long sleeves are not provided and you must be out so long interpreting and helping on extra days. We encourage you to walk in both truth and grace in that relationship. If she is your mother or teacher and authority in your life, we are called to honor and listen while also speaking the truth in love Ephesians 6:2, Ephesians 4:15. It may help to calmly explain again how the sun causes you burning and itching and internal pain and a high risk to your health, and to ask for her help to find a solution together, such as an SPF long sleeve shirt you provide yourself, or a different placement with more shade, or wisdom about whether this job is the right fit. A man's heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps Proverbs 16:9, and we pray God gives both of you understanding and peace.

We also hear the deeper hurt that you have felt mistreated and abused and traumatized in previous jobs and that you feel pushed to stay where you overheat and struggle. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18, and He says fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you Isaiah 41:10. We do not take that pain lightly and we pray for healing from those wounds and for the Lord to lead you to work that fits the gifts He has given you.

Your desire to build your puppet business and voiceover business and to have a supporting job that provides enough, whether full time or a mix, is a good and diligent desire. Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray God opens doors for work that uses your voice and creativity and allows you to be indoors or shaded, where you can serve well without being in dire heat, and where you can move forward and move up as you hope.

We lift you up together now.

Father in Jesus name we come before You and thank You that this dear one has called upon the name of Lord Jesus. We thank You that You see every hour in the sun, every burning and itching, every moment of fatigue and sensory overload, and every worry about skin cancer and health. Lord we ask You to protect this body You created, to guard the skin and eyes and strength, and to give wisdom for stewardship of health. Provide practical help for covering and shade and for conversations with supervisors and with her who does not yet understand. Soften hearts to listen and give words that are clear and respectful.

Lord we ask for Your direction for employment. If the zoo is not the place to remain, make it clear and open a different job that is more fitting, one that honors the way You have made this one and uses the gifts of interpreting, puppetry, and voice. Provide for financial needs and lead step by step, for we know You have plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11. Heal the memories of mistreatment and trauma, bring peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:6-7, and help to trust You with the future. Teach us all to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and to acknowledge You in all our ways so You will direct our paths Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We have been praying with you about the strain at the zoo and the worry about the sun. It makes sense you feel torn. You want to do good work as an interpreter and help when needed, and at the same time long hours in bright heat are taking a real toll, especially with your family history and the sensitivity you described.

We hear the discouragement with your manager about sunscreen and uniforms, and the bigger question you are asking about whether this is the right fit. Wanting work that honors both your health and the gifts you have for puppetry and voiceover is a thoughtful desire.

Two practical steps that may help as you seek direction:

First, since you mentioned burning, itching, fatigue and overheating, please talk soon with your primary care provider about your sun sensitivity and family history, so you have clear guidance and any documentation you might need for workplace conversations.

Second, try writing down what conditions help you do your best, such as indoor or shaded work, manageable light and temperature, and using your voice and creativity, then compare current and future opportunities against that list. A local career counselor or workforce center can help you assess those concerns, clarify goals, and explore next steps for a supporting job alongside your creative business and how you sense God leading.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. Give him wisdom for work decisions, favor in conversations at the zoo, protection for his health, and clear next doors for provision and purpose. Lead him step by step and give him rest along the way. Amen.

Your prayer concerning the heat of the sun and the weariness it brings has been heard with tender care. You speak of sensitive skin and a family history that makes the sun a true hazard, of AuDHD that makes bright light and heat and fatigue press heavily upon you, and of labor as an interpreter that keeps you long under that burning sun while sunscreen marks your clothing and brings reproach. We hear also your desire for work more suited to your frame and gifts, and your hope to build a business with puppets and voice, and we hear the ache of past mistreatment that still lingers.

Scripture teaches that Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel and afterward receive me to glory. That guidance begins when the heart, wrought upon by grace, consents to be guided and bows with submission to the will of God. In that submission we are furnished with unerring guidance, and we learn great principles, among them to avoid everything that is evil and to walk in what is good and wise. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, so we would encourage you not to cast yourself away in haste, but to seek the Lord's counsel day by day, asking Him to make your path plain. On earth there is no real glory for us unless we are guided by God's counsel, and there is no true glory for any man who takes his own course.

Adversity itself has sweet uses in the hand of God. Hope itself is like a star not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity and only to be discovered in the night of adversity. In this season of heat and fatigue and misunderstanding, may the Lord cause that star to shine for you, that you may see His presence near and His promise sure, even when the day is wearying.

All fullness is treasured up in Christ. It is not said to be treasured up only in the doctrines of Christ, though they are full and complete when the Spirit reveals the Son in us, nor only in the commands of Christ, although they are amply sufficient for our guidance, but in Christ Himself. From His fullness we receive a fullness of comfort in affliction and a fullness of guidance in prosperity, a fullness of every divine attribute, of wisdom, of power, of love, a fullness which it were impossible to survey, much less to explore. Come then to Him for daily wisdom to steward the body He has given you, for the body is His temple, and to care for skin and eyes and strength is not vanity but stewardship.

We would counsel you gently and practically as you wait upon the Lord. Seek such lawful and quiet means as you are able to protect your health, speaking respectfully to those set over you concerning shade, covering and reasonable provision for one whose skin and senses are so tender, and seeking medical counsel where needed for your safety. If long sleeves are denied in one place and provided in another, note this plainly and ask humbly for what is needful. At the same time, commit your way to the Lord concerning future work, asking Him to open a door to employment more fitting, whether full time or joined with other honest labor, and to prosper the work of your hands in puppets and voice as you labor with diligence and integrity. Let your requests be made known, but let them be bathed in prayer and patience, that you may not move merely from weariness but by clear guidance.

We now commend you to Him who guides and keeps.

O Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and in whom all fullness dwells, look upon this Thy servant who is wearied by heat and light and labor. Thou knowest the tenderness of this frame, the history of infirmity in the family, the sensitivity of senses and the heaviness of fatigue. Grant protection to the body, wisdom to those in authority that they may understand and act with kindness, and grace to bear reproach without bitterness. Guide with Thy counsel in the matter of work, show the next step and keep from haste, provide a place of labor suited to health and gifts, and bless honest endeavors to earn bread and to help others. Let hope shine as a star in this night of adversity, and give comfort in affliction and guidance in every decision, that whether under the sun or in quiet shade this life may be lived to Thy glory. In Thy name we ask, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with care. We understand how heavy this burden feels, standing for long hours in bright heat while trying to protect your skin, managing sensitivity to light and sound and heat, and feeling misunderstood when you try to explain why you need sunscreen or covering. The concern about skin cancer in your family, the burning and itching, the fatigue and loss of concentration, and the strain of AuDHD in that environment are real, and God sees the effort you are making to do your work well and to help others while also caring for your body.

God made our bodies and calls us to steward them wisely. Just as a physician cares for a fever and restores health, the Lord is the true healer who restores and sustains us, and He invites us to seek wisdom for our health and our work. He also knows when we are weary. When the sun is strong and the day is long, He remains our shelter and our Sun of Righteousness who does not harm but gives light and life. He understands both your desire to be faithful in your duties as an interpreter and your need for limits and protection.

We are praying for you in this way.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this child of Yours and for the gifts You have given, including the desire to serve others, to speak and create through puppets and voice, and to work with diligence. We ask for Your protection over health, for relief from burning and pain, and for wisdom for care of skin and eyes in the sun. Grant favor and clear communication with supervisors and coworkers, that there may be understanding about the need for protection from the sun, whether through sunscreen, appropriate clothing, shade, or other reasonable help. Give clarity and peace about work, and open a door to employment that fits strengths and limitations and provides what is needed. Where there has been mistreatment and trauma, bring healing and restore what has been broken. Lead step by step toward work that allows stewardship of the body, use of gifts, and provision for the future, whether through a new position, growth in the puppet and voiceover work, or a combination that You provide. Give rest when fatigued, focus when distracted, and confidence that You are near.

We ask for Your guidance, for daily strength, and for hope as you move forward. May you experience the Lord's care each day, seek wise counsel for health and for job decisions, and continue to bring every need to Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and in whose name we pray. Amen.
