Thank you for sharing this burden with us. We are joining you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ for your meeting with the surgeon today.

We are asking the Lord to give you peace as you enter that room, to give the surgeon wisdom, clarity and steady hands as he considers how to remove the two tumors, and to make this a hopeful meeting that points to the best possible path forward for your health. We also pray with you that, if it is the Lord's will, you would not need further chemotherapy, and that God would bring healing and restoration to your body according to His mercy and power.

We know this is a heavy and anxious time, and we pray that Christ Himself would be near to you, calming your heart and reminding you that He is the great physician who sees you and cares for you. May He give you strength for each step, comfort to your family, and confidence in His good purposes even as you wait for answers.

We will continue to lift you up before the Father, asking for healing, for clear guidance for your medical team, and for sustained hope in Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your heart and letting us pray with you. Hearing that you have two tumors and are facing surgery is heavy, and it is understandable to long for a hopeful conversation with the surgeon and to hope that further treatment like chemotherapy will not be needed.

The Bible shows us what hope really is. It is not just wishing for something. It is both deeply desiring something good and truly expecting God to act. Without God there is no real hope, but in Jesus Christ we are brought near to God through His blood, and with Him hope comes alive. That is why Scripture calls God the God of hope. He wants to fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him, so that hope will overflow in you by the power of the Holy Spirit.

That hope is sustained by the patience and comfort we find in Scripture. As we see who God is, His faithfulness, His mercy and His promises, we learn to hope in Him more. His mercy rests upon us in the measure that we hope in Him. And this hope is not empty. It is a living hope because Jesus rose from the dead. It is a blessed hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, has promised to all who trust in His Son. Even when we cannot yet see the answer with our eyes, we can wait with patience, knowing God is faithful. This is the hope that keeps us going when everything around us feels dark and discouraging. It purifies us and steadies us because we know our future is secure in Christ, no matter how difficult the present may be.

It is also wonderful to remember how God designed our bodies, and especially the brain, with such wisdom. He made the brain able to form new connections and to work toward healing when there has been damage. We can thank Him for giving surgeons and medical teams skill and understanding, and we can ask Him to guide them.

We are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to give you peace as you meet with the surgeon, to give the surgeon wisdom and clarity as he explains the options and plans for removing the tumors, and to make that meeting encouraging and hopeful. We also bring your desire regarding chemotherapy before the Lord, asking that if it is His will, you would not need further treatment, and above all that His healing and mercy would be evident in your life. We pray that whatever the medical path ahead holds, you will experience the joy and peace that come from abounding hope in Christ, knowing that He holds you now and that your eternal life with Him is sure.
