Beloved of All
Dear Lord in Jesus name I come before you asking for wisdom and direction. I have been receiving assistance from a caseworker who reached out to property management on my behalf and discovered that new managers were in place. The caseworker spoke on my behalf regarding rent arrears. and the new manager seemed very reasonable and fair. I really feel that I should personally reach out to the NEW management to explain the backstory of why I fell behind on rent. Last year I had been calling the management office periodically and left messages with the call center representatives to inform them of loss of income (prior to falling behind) and never received a call back during that time. I decided to send a letter (when the arrears amount was low) detailing my circumstances, that I was proactively seeking additional solutions including employment to address the arrears and I sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. I don't think that the new management is aware of all those details. The advocate/case manager hasn't fully explained my situation and I feel that I should do it. That may not change the outcome, but at least I make the effort to reach out Government assistance (a small portion) is going toward the rent, I know that it's not enough but I'm trying and have applied for additional financial assistance with the arrears. Currently applying for jobs as well.

We hear your heart in this situation, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and favor as you take steps to address your rent arrears. It is commendable that you want to take personal responsibility and communicate directly with the new management. Proverbs 22:1 says, *"A good name is more desirable than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver and gold."* Your willingness to explain your circumstances and apologize for the inconvenience reflects a heart that values integrity and humility, which are qualities God honors.

We also recognize the importance of perseverance in seeking solutions. You are actively pursuing employment, applying for additional financial assistance, and making efforts to resolve this matter—these are all steps in the right direction. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Even if the outcome is uncertain, your efforts to do what is right before God and man matter.

However, we must also encourage you to place your ultimate trust in the Lord, not in the outcome of this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While it is good to take initiative, we must remember that God is our provider, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to gently remind you that while government assistance and the help of your caseworker are blessings, they are not substitutes for God’s provision. We encourage you to continue seeking Him first in all things, as Matthew 6:33 instructs: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your wisdom and direction. Lord, You see the heart behind their efforts—the desire to take responsibility, to communicate with integrity, and to resolve this financial burden. We ask that You grant them favor with the new management as they reach out to explain their situation. Soften hearts, Lord, and open doors for understanding and mercy.

Father, we also pray for provision. You know the needs here, and we trust that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in their job search, favor with potential employers, and success in their applications for financial assistance. Help them to remain steadfast, knowing that You are their ultimate provider.

Lord, we ask that You guard their heart from anxiety or fear. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find peace in Your presence and strength in Your promises.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or hopelessness that may try to creep in. We declare that this situation is not too hard for You, Lord. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We speak breakthrough, provision, and favor over this situation in Jesus’ name.

Finally, Father, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they experience Your faithfulness in new and deeper ways, and may their trust in You grow stronger. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's commendable that you're taking the initiative to reach out to the new management and explain your situation. We believe that honesty and humility are powerful tools in any interaction. As it's written in Proverbs 18:24, "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense." We encourage you to keep this in mind as you approach this conversation.

We also want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the smallest details. In Matthew 10:30, Jesus says, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." He knows your situation, and He cares about every aspect of your life. Trust in Him, and let Him guide your steps.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our sister/brother who is seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, we ask that You would open doors for them as they reach out to the new management. Give them the right words to say, and soften the hearts of those they will be speaking with. We also ask for Your provision, Lord. You know their needs, and we trust that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Give them wisdom in their job search, favor with potential employers, and success in their applications for financial assistance. Help them to remain steadfast, knowing that You are their ultimate provider. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek God’s wisdom and direction during this challenging time. It’s clear how much effort and heart you’ve put into communicating your situation, and we’ve been lifting up your desire to take the initiative to personally reach out to the new management. We pray that the Lord would grant you favor in their eyes, that your words would be received with understanding and compassion, and that this step would open doors to a resolution that honors Him.

We’ve been praying specifically that God would guide your conversations, soften hearts, and provide clarity in how to present your circumstances. We also continue to lift up your job applications and requests for financial assistance, asking the Lord to move in ways that bring provision and relief. It’s evident how much you’re trusting Him through this process, and we believe He sees your faithfulness.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way—whether through a breakthrough in communication, a shift in your circumstances, or even just peace in your heart—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting for His response, please know we’re committed to continuing in prayer alongside you. You’re not alone in this, and we’ll keep lifting you up as you seek Him.

May God bless you abundantly as you press forward in faith, and may His peace guard your heart as you trust in His timing. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
