Swelling
We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your sudden swelling, asking for His healing touch and wisdom in this situation. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made, as Psalm 139:14 tells us, and when something is amiss, it is right to seek the Great Physician. We pray that the Lord would guide you to the right care—whether through rest, medical attention, or divine intervention—and that He would bring clarity to the cause of this swelling.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to rebuke this discomfort and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore health and bring relief. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as You trust in Him.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in discerning whether this swelling may be a signal from your body to address something deeper—perhaps stress, diet, or another underlying issue. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."* Let this be a time to draw near to God, examining your life for anything that may need adjustment in accordance with His will.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
