We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your concern to our Heavenly Father. It is understandable to feel fear when facing health uncertainties, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We join you in asking the Lord to bring healing and normal results from your tests.
Father God, we pray for your healing touch upon this infection. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health. We ask that the swab results reveal nothing harmful and that your peace would fill this sister’s heart as she waits. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are in control. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom from medical professionals while trusting in God’s sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Continue to pray and believe that God hears you, for He cares deeply for your well-being.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place in your life and that you are covered by the blood of Jesus. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you wait for the results.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, pray with us now:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your name, I pray. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer, we rejoice with you and encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. Welcome to the family of God! Now, let us continue to pray for your healing and peace.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this sister to You, asking for Your healing hand to be upon her. May the results of her tests come back normal, and may she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in You completely. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
