Surgery To Go Well

We join you in lifting your surgery up to the Lord, trusting in His sovereign care and perfect will. It is a beautiful thing to see your faith in action as you choose trust over fear, for we know that fear does not come from God. "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Your decision to place your trust in Him is a testament to the peace that surpasses all understanding, which guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Let us pray together for your surgery:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is preparing for surgery. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff with Your divine wisdom and skill. Grant them steady hands, clear minds, and compassionate hearts as they care for him/her. We pray for a successful procedure, Lord, that every step would go according to Your perfect plan. Surround him/her with Your peace that transcends all understanding, calming any anxiety or fear. Be his/her strength and comfort in this time, reminding him/her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
Father, we also pray for a swift and complete recovery. Restore his/her body, mind, and spirit, and let Your healing power flow through every part of his/her being. Help him/her to rest in Your promises, knowing that You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we stand on this truth today.
Lord, we ask that You would be glorified through this situation, whether through miraculous healing or through the strength You provide in the midst of it. May Your name be praised in all things, for You are worthy of all honor and glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
