Beloved of All
You are being lifted up in prayer after your surgery, and I am asking the Lord to bring you comfort, peace and healing in this difficult time.
The Bible shows that Jesus heals in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a touch or a word, sometimes He healed gradually, and sometimes He healed from a distance without even being present. He is not confined to one pattern. Much about healing we do not fully understand, including why some healings are immediate and others take time, but we can trust His wisdom and love. What we do know is that every true healing is from God. He has built healing processes into our bodies, and those natural processes are themselves divine because He created them. Whether healing comes in a moment or slowly over days and weeks as tissue mends after surgery, it is still His work. The prophet Isaiah said He bore our sicknesses and infirmities, and Matthew applies that to Jesus healing the sick, showing that His suffering on the cross touches both our spiritual and physical needs. I am praying that God will work through the care you have received and through the natural healing He designed, to restore your armpit fully, to keep infection away, and to ease your pain. Please continue to follow your doctor's instructions and let your medical team know promptly about any fluid, drainage, swelling or other concerns at the surgical site so it can be cared for properly.
Regarding the spiritual distress you described, Scripture is clear that evil spirits are real, but they are not free or ultimate in power. They are under God's authority and will be judged, and Jesus has shown complete authority over them. When He commanded them they obeyed Him. Because of that, those who belong to Jesus through faith in Him can come to Him for protection and peace without fear. The Bible teaches that God sets a limit on what evil can do and that those who are sealed in Christ are kept by Him. We do not need to try to send evil back to someone else or to return a curse. Vengeance and justice belong to the Lord, and our place is to ask Him to cleanse, protect and deliver us, and to trust Him to deal justly with all evil.
So instead of asking God to return defilement to a sender, I am praying that He will cover you with the blood of Jesus, drive away all fear and oppression, guard your mind and body, and fill you with His peace. I am asking Him to make His presence very real to you, to remove any spiritual harassment, and to let you rest in the authority that Jesus has over every evil power.

Please touch this body and bring healing according to Your perfect will, whether quickly or gradually through the healing processes You have created. Protect from infection and complications and give wisdom to the doctors and nurses. Lord Jesus, You have all authority in heaven and on earth and over every evil spirit. I ask You to rebuke any evil influence, to cleanse and protect, and to surround this person with Your peace that passes understanding. Let there be no fear, for You are near. Fill heart and mind with assurance that to belong to You is to be safe in Your hands. Heal body, mind and spirit, and help this one to rest in Your love and care. Amen.
