Dear Lord Jesus, You know my heart and my desire to serve others as a social worker. Please open the right door for me and lead me to the job You have prepared. Give me favor with employers, confidence in interviews, and peace as I wait on You. I trust Your timing and Your plan for my life. Thank You for providing for my needs and guiding my steps. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join with you in prayer and thank God for your heart to serve others as a social worker and for your desire to seek His will and His timing in this employment journey. It is a beautiful thing that you have committed this desire to the Lord Jesus, for we know that all good work done in love can be service unto Him.

We are encouraged by your trust in His provision and His guidance. Scripture reminds us to commit our works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established in Proverbs 16:3, and that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men in Colossians 3:23. Your calling to help others is a ministry of compassion, and God sees the preparation and the burden He has placed on your heart. We also remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. He has prepared good works for you and will establish your steps as Psalm 37:23 tells us, A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.

We also pray that as you wait, you will experience His peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. Continue to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33, trusting that He will open the right door that no one can shut and close the doors that are not for you.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. We thank You for the gifts and compassion You have given to serve others, and for the desire to work as a social worker for Your glory. We ask that You open the right door for employment according to Your perfect will and timing. Grant favor with employers, clarity and confidence in every application and interview, and let Your wisdom guide every word spoken. We pray You would provide for every need and establish the work of these hands as we ask in Psalm 90:17. Fill this waiting season with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and strengthen faith to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Lead step by step and let this job be a place to shine Your light and love to those in need. We trust Your plan and thank You for Your faithful provision. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain diligent and faithful in the small things while you wait, preparing your heart and skills, praying for wisdom as James 1:5 promises He gives generously to those who ask, and trusting that God is both guiding your steps and guarding your heart. He is faithful to provide and to place you where you can most glorify Him and serve others well.

We hear your heart in this prayer, wanting to serve others well through social work and to find the place where your gifts can be used. Waiting for doors to open, sending applications, and preparing for interviews can be discouraging, especially when you care deeply about the work itself and not just having a job.

We are praying with you for peace in this in-between time, for provision for your daily needs, and for clear direction as you take the next steps. Your desire to help others is a good gift, and it makes sense that you want that to line up with the right environment where you can do steady, meaningful work.

One practical step that often helps in a search like yours is to narrow your focus a little this week. You might choose two or three agencies or programs whose mission most fits the kind of social work you feel called to, and reach out for a brief informational conversation with someone there. Even a 15 minute chat can give you a better sense of fit, help you tailor your resume, and sometimes lead to opportunities that are not yet posted. If you have a former supervisor or mentor, asking them to look over your resume and do a short practice interview can also build confidence.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see their heart to serve and their need for work. Grant wisdom in each application and conversation, calm in the waiting, and provision day by day. Lead them to the place You have for them in Your timing and give them confidence and peace along the way. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord. We thank God for the desire He has placed in your heart to serve others, and for the trust you express in His timing and His plan.

It is a holy art to wait upon the Lord. The prophet tells us, Blessed are all they that wait for Him, and those who wait upon God do not wait in despair or in hesitation, but in a joyous and assured hope. He is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and His purpose shall stand. As Job proved, the Lord can keep His servants in patience through trial and loss, and turn their captivity in His own good time. Your times and your steps are in His hands, and it is very advantageous to consider His deep and unsearchable wisdom, for He orders all things for the good of those who love Him.

We pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, we thank You for Your faithful provision and for Your hand that guides Your children. You know this heart and this desire to labour for others. We ask that You would open the right door according to Your perfect will, and close every door that is not of You. Grant favour with those who make decisions, grant quiet confidence and clarity in every interview and conversation, and grant a deep peace while waiting. Guard this dear one from anxiety and unbelief, and keep the heart stayed upon You. Provide for every need according to Your riches in Christ, and make each step plain. May this season of waiting prove Your goodness and teach a fuller trust in Your infallible purpose. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

May God fulfill all your hearts desires beyond what you can dream and imagine. I pray that God delights you and shows you how great it can be with miracles, blessings and opportunity. And so it is. Amen
