We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this need for employment and provision before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We know how heavy the burden can feel when work and income are uncertain, and we want to encourage you that God sees your need and cares deeply for you. He is our provider and He calls us to trust Him while also being diligent to work with the gifts He has given us. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance Colossians 3:23-24. We are also reminded to commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3 and to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.
We love that you asked for prayer to God, and we want to gently encourage you about the precious way we come to Him. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we pray in the name of Jesus, trusting that through faith in Him, His death and resurrection for our sins, we are made children of God and can boldly bring our requests to His throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
We also take comfort in the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25, for our Father knows what we need before we ask.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the need for a job and a steady source of income, and You know the skills and desires You have placed within. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity according to Your perfect will, that You would grant favor with employers, wisdom in every application and interview, and peace while waiting on Your provision. Help us to trust Your timing and to seek first Your kingdom, knowing You will add what we need. Provide not just any job, but the work where we can labor faithfully for You, provide for our needs, and be a light for Your glory. Your request concerning employment and provision has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you.
We know the anxiety that attends the want of daily bread and the desire for honest labour by which a man may provide for his own and serve his generation. Be assured that your heavenly Father knows your need. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows has not forgotten to be gracious, and His mercies are more than can be numbered. Every mercy comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood, for it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the throne of grace and the promise that our sins are cleansed and our persons accepted.
We pray that the Lord in His wise providence would open a door for you soon, that He would grant you health and strength for work, favour in the eyes of employers, and a calling in which you may labour with diligence and honesty to His glory. May He teach you even in this season of waiting, for He is a faithful Teacher who instructs His pupils from their youth and through every trial, and He often works in us while we think He delays. Trust not in your own merit or wisdom, but look to Christ who is our righteousness and our provider.
We ask also that you may seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, resting in the promise that all needful things shall be added, and that whether the answer tarries or comes speedily, you may be kept in peace, declaring His wondrous works as you see His hand.
