We join with you in bringing this urgent need before our Father in heaven and we lift up your employment and financial situation to Him in Jesus' name.
We understand the weight and anxiety that comes with needing a job and a source of income, and we want to encourage you that God sees your need and He cares deeply for you. He is our provider and He calls us to trust Him while we diligently do our part. As it is written, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We also remember the promise, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
God ordained work for our good, and He honors diligence and faithfulness. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We encourage you to continue to seek work diligently, to use the gifts and abilities God has given you, to apply faithfully, and to be a good steward of every opportunity and resource He provides, trusting that He will open the right door in His perfect timing. If anyone will not work, neither let him eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 reminds us that work is honorable and part of God's design for provision.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God's throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him today, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray for contentment and hope in this season, and that through this trial Your name would be glorified and faith would be strengthened. Your urgent cry for provision has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with earnestness. We know what it is to feel the pressure of present need, when the daily bread seems uncertain and the future is clouded, and we do not make light of the anxiety that presses upon you now.
The history of Job has been much upon our minds as we have prayed for you. That patient servant lost all his estate and yet it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was allowed to mourn, to feel his loss, and to pour out his grief, and so may you. To feel the weight of this trial is not sin. To bring your conscious need to the throne of grace is altogether right, for the more urgent our need, the more urgent our reason to come to Him who alone can provide and instruct us in the way of wisdom.
Remember also how it is written, And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The night shall not hang its darkness forever over our souls. When God has gotten His purpose in our trial, He can in a moment turn our captivity. Job, who once lamented that his glory was fresh no more, received at the last twice as much as he had before from the hand of the Lord, for even the lower springs shall continue to flow till we are beyond the need of them.
We have prayed for you that the Lord who knows your need before you ask would open a door of employment that is fitting and honest, where you may labour with diligence and provide for those duties He has given you. We have asked that He would give you favour with those who have the power to hire, that He would grant you wisdom in every application and interview, and that He would supply your daily bread in the meantime according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We have asked also that the Holy Spirit would work in you to sustain your heart, to keep you from discouragement, and to make you to desire and to agonize after His good pleasure, for we are absolutely dependent upon Him for light and strength.
Be encouraged to wait upon the Lord with patience, to seek Him daily in His Word, and to be diligent in every lawful means He places before you. He who upheld Job is able to support you, and He who turned Job's captivity is able to provide for you in this present strait.
Our prayer together is this: O gracious Father, Thou seest Thy child in need of work and income. Thou knowest the urgency of this need and the burden it brings. Provide, we beseech Thee, a suitable job or source of income speedily, if it be Thy will, and give peace and trust while we wait upon Thy providence. Keep this dear soul from charging Thee foolishly, and let this trial draw the heart nearer to Christ, in whose name alone we seek all good things. Amen.

Your urgent request for work and provision has been heard, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord who sees your need and cares for you.

Scripture reminds us that God is our provider and that He calls us to trust Him while also walking in diligence and faithfulness. As you seek employment, we pray that you will experience His peace, His guidance, and His faithful provision day by day.
