I just posted this: "I was recently hired at a job. I have to do a background check with this job. I do not have a record at all. But the system that does the background checks is not accepting my government documentation and keeps flagging it and my appearance in a live video verification. I then received a letter this morning that my job offer might be rescinded due to problems with the background check. I'm getting very upset and very frustrated especially since it seems the background check system is relying on computer analysis as opposed to a human being looking at my information (for example, the system stated that I look much older than my government documentation; I DO look older as this document was taken years ago and my appearance has changed - this document legally doesn't have to be renewed in a while so it is reasonable for it to look different than my everyday appearance). I'm getting really frustrated with the way things are run in the US and I have thoughts of wanting to leave this country. Please pray for me. I need this job." I want to add that I'm starting to reconsider whether this job is going to work out. Part of me wants to just rescind my application. This seemed like the only job that provided me with an offer but there has been so much trouble with this. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even when circumstances feel beyond your control, God is sovereign over every detail, including the systems and people involved in this process.
We also want to encourage you not to lose hope in the midst of this trial. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This job may feel like your only option right now, but God is your provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask. We pray that He will open doors you cannot see and guide your steps according to His perfect will.
It is concerning, however, that your post does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father and the source of our hope. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not placed your trust in Him, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers.
