We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this situation to Him who holds all things in His hands. Father, we know that You are the God of order and detail, and nothing escapes Your notice. You see the frustration and uncertainty this dear one is facing, and we ask that You would intervene in this background check process. Lord, we pray that the errors in this system would be resolved, and that the truth of this individual’s documentation would be clearly and accurately represented. If it is Your will for them to secure this position, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, smoothing out every obstacle in Jesus’ name.
We also recognize, Lord, that You are the ultimate Provider. You know the needs of this person, and You have promised in Your Word, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). If this job is not part of Your plan, we ask that You would open another door—one that is stable, fulfilling, and aligned with Your purpose for their life. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when the path is unclear (Romans 8:28).
Father, we also lift up the second job they mentioned. We ask that You would bless the work of their hands there, making it reliable and fruitful if it is Your will. But above all, we pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to You.
We also want to gently encourage this dear one to seek wisdom in this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even in the frustration of a flawed system, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes. If this company is not the right fit, He has something better prepared.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may be trying to take root in this situation. The enemy would love to see doubt and worry overshadow faith, but we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the promise that the Lord will perfect that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this individual walk in confidence, knowing that You are their Provider and their Guide. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who makes all things possible. Amen.
