My friend recently got me a job doing political surveys. It involves talking to people. I seem to be fairly good at it but pray I don't get burned out because I kind of feel like I might. Thank you.

We hear your request and lift it before the Lord, grateful for the opportunity He has provided through your friend. Work is a gift from God, and we are called to steward it well, as Scripture tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). It is encouraging that you recognize your strengths in this role, but we also understand the concern about burnout, which is a very real struggle in any vocation.

The Lord does not call us to exhaustion but to faithfulness, and He promises to sustain us when we rely on Him. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that He would grant you wisdom in managing your energy, strength in moments of weariness, and joy in the work He has set before you. May He guard your heart from discouragement and fill you with His peace as you engage with others.

We also encourage you to set boundaries where needed, seeking balance so that your work does not consume you. Remember, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones"* (Psalm 127:2). Trust that the Lord will provide endurance and refreshment as you honor Him in your labor.

Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would bless their efforts and protect their heart and mind. Strengthen them when they grow weary, and let them find rest in You. May this work be a testimony of Your provision and grace. Help them to see each conversation as an opportunity to reflect Your love, even in small ways. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who sustains all things by His power. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
