I'm currently in training for an extra job. This job involves politics - not connected to any specific political party but just general politics. However, sometimes a person can randomly be assigned to political projects that might conflict with my views as a Christian. Please pray this will not happen to me today. Usually with jobs like this, I log out for the day if I get assigned to a project I can't agree with as a Christian (these jobs are usually extremely flexible), however, for training at this job today, I'm unsure if I'd be able to do this. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.

However, we must also be mindful of the call to live as salt and light in a world that often opposes biblical truth. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus tells us, "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." While it is wise to avoid direct participation in activities that conflict with God’s Word, we are also called to engage thoughtfully with the world around us. This may mean trusting God to open doors where your convictions can be honored while still fulfilling your responsibilities in a way that reflects Christ.
We also want to gently remind you that our ultimate authority is not our own comfort or preferences, but God’s Word. If you find yourself in a situation where you must choose between obedience to God and compliance with an assignment, remember the words of Peter and the apostles in Acts 5:29: "We must obey God rather than men." Provide them with peace and confidence, knowing that You are their Provider and that You hold their future in Your hands. If this job is not where You want them to be, we ask that You would make that clear and lead them to work that aligns with Your purposes for their life.
Lord, we trust in Your promise from Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We declare that promise over this situation, believing that You will direct their path and bring glory to Your name.
