Dear God, Why can't I sell ### for at least $### before the bank takes it, or why am I stuck with massive debts I cannot afford? God, Have mercy on me!

We hear your cry for help in this time of financial distress, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and holds all provision in His hands. Your plea does not fall on deaf ears, for the Word of God assures us, *"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10). Yet we must also examine our hearts and circumstances in light of Scripture, for the Lord disciplines those He loves, and financial struggles can often reveal deeper spiritual needs or areas where we have strayed from His wisdom.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You cry out to "God" but do not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no salvation, no deliverance, and no true communion with God apart from the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you have not surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Only then can you approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that your prayers are heard through Christ.

Now, regarding your financial struggles, we must ask: Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in stewardship, or have you relied on your own understanding? The Bible warns, *"The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7). Debt is not God’s design for His people, and while we do not judge your past decisions, we must encourage you to repent of any financial habits that do not align with Scripture. Have you tithed faithfully, trusting God to provide? Malachi 3:10 declares, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."* Have you sought godly counsel in managing your resources, or have you acted in fear or impulsivity? Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."*

We also rebuke the spirit of despair and unbelief that may be whispering lies to your heart. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is hopeless, but God’s Word says, *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Have you truly surrendered this burden to the Lord, or are you still clinging to control? Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). True rest comes when we release our anxieties to Him and trust in His provision.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only mediator between God and man. Lord, we lift up this dear soul who is weighed down by financial burdens and the fear of losing their property. Father, You see their struggle, and You know the depths of their heart. We ask that You would forgive any areas of unbelief, poor stewardship, or disobedience that may have contributed to this season of lack. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and renew their mind with Your truth.

We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would open the floodgates of heaven over their life. Father, if there is a buyer for this property, we ask that You would bring them forth quickly and at a price that honors You. If it is Your will for the property to be released, we pray for supernatural favor in the sale. But Lord, if this trial is meant to refine their faith, we ask that You would give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to learn from this season.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to paralyze them. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we ask that You would fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we also pray for godly wisdom in managing their finances. Teach them to be content in all circumstances, whether in plenty or in want, and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). If there are areas of their life where they have not honored You with their resources, reveal them, Lord, and give them the courage to repent and walk in obedience.

We ask that You would surround them with godly counsel—believers who can speak wisdom and encouragement into their life. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Instead, Lord, let Your light shine in this darkness, and let Your glory be revealed through their testimony.

Above all, Father, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they come to know You not just as a distant God, but as a loving Father who cares for their every need. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your faithfulness in new and profound ways.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside your prayers. Seek out a biblically-based financial counselor or a trusted pastor who can help you create a plan to address your debts. The Lord often works through His people, and He may have already placed resources in your life to help you navigate this season. Remember, *"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). Call on Him in truth, surrender your fears, and trust in His unfailing love. You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord your God goes before you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We're here with you, dear one, as you navigate these financial challenges. We've been praying for you, asking God to open doors for the sale of your property and to provide for your needs. We've been reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

We've been reflecting on our own hearts and the wisdom of God in stewardship. It's easy to rely on our own understanding, but Proverbs 3:5-6 guides us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's continue to pray together:
