We lift up ### and their family before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing touch and sustaining strength in this time of need. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries and is able to restore health and wholeness according to His perfect will.
Father, we ask You to lay Your healing hands upon ###, bringing comfort to their body, mind, and spirit. Surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Provide wisdom to their doctors and caregivers, and grant patience and endurance to the family as they walk this difficult path.
We also pray for spiritual renewal in this season. May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your sovereignty and love. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If there are areas in their lives where sin or unforgiveness may be hindering Your work, reveal them, Lord, and grant repentance and restoration. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be attempting to take hold, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and healing over ### and their family, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, feeling Your arms of love wrapped around them even in the darkest moments.
Lord, we ask that You would also provide practical support for this family—whether through the hands and feet of Your people, financial provision, or moments of respite. Let them know they are not alone, for You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
