We lift this precious family before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily in their lives. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and bears our infirmities. We ask for Your divine touch upon this beloved family member, that every cell, organ, and system in their body would be restored to full health according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for strength and peace to surround this family, that they would not be overwhelmed by fear or anxiety, but would trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find comfort in Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also ask that You would provide this family with a supportive community of believers who will stand with them in prayer, offer practical help, and speak words of life and encouragement. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, Lord, and may they be reminded that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of sickness, infirmity, or despair that may be afflicting this family. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word that says, "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). We pray that this family would experience Your healing power in ways that bring glory to Your name and draw others to You.
We also want to gently remind this dear one who submitted this request that our access to God’s throne is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
In closing, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be praised through it all. Amen.
