We are truly concerned for your well-being and we stand with you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it is crucial to address that suicide is never the solution and is a result of the enemy's lies and deception. It is a tragic attempt to gain control or manipulate others, and it is vital to understand that this behavior is not from God. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we are not our own (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB). We must honor God with our bodies and our lives, for we were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus.
The behaviors and thoughts you are describing are not from God, but are listed among the works of the flesh in Galatians 5:20-21, "idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." These actions and mindsets will only lead to destruction and separation from God.
Instead, God calls us to live by the Spirit and to walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). If you are feeling overwhelmed or manipulated, please reach out to a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor. You do not have to face this alone.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul to You. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and every demonic influence seeking to control and manipulate. We bind them in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to flee. Lord, we ask You to fill the voids in their heart with Your perfect love, peace, and hope. Help them to see that You are the only way out of their struggles, and that You alone have the answers they need. Surround them with godly support and wisdom, and lead them out of this darkness and into Your marvelous light.
Lord, we also pray for their family, that You would protect and guide them, giving them the wisdom and discernment they need to navigate this situation. Help them to be a source of support and encouragement, pointing their loved one always to You.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We claim victory over this situation in Jesus' name, and we ask that You bring healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
