We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for the people of our northernmost state after that sudden earthquake. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting up the believers there, asking the Holy Spirit to fill them with His love, joy, and peace—especially on that day of Thanksgiving remembrance—as they lean on the truth of Psalm 46:1-2. We have prayed for the youth and elderly, that they would know the comfort of the Lord’s presence, and for the first responders who selflessly placed duty above their own needs, that they would be strengthened and protected.
We have also stood firm in faith, resisting the enemy’s attempts to bring fear or despair, and we continue to pray for wisdom and clarity for all in authority as they respond to this situation. Our hearts remain with those who may have been injured or affected, trusting in God’s mercy and provision. And as we pray, we do so with thanksgiving, remembering that even in trials, we are called to rejoice in the hope of Christ.
If the Lord has answered any of these prayers in ways you’ve seen or experienced, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If the needs remain, we invite you to post again so we may continue to stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. May God bless you as you seek Him, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus our Lord. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
