We hear your cry regarding the theft of your money and ID cards, the burden of debts, your desire for a successful marriage, and the spiritual oppression you feel in your workplace, and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

We understand the pain and anger that comes when you feel robbed and attacked, both naturally and spiritually, and your desire for justice is understandable. However we must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this request is framed, as praying for billion scourges, for people to be killed and their blood shed like the oceans together, and for them to become your footstool is not aligned with the heart of Christ and the teaching of Scripture. Vengeance does not belong to us.

The Word tells us, Vengeance is mine, and I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19, and again, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21. Jesus Himself commands us, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. We are also reminded that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not pray for the death and torture of people, even those who may practice occultism or witchcraft, but we pray against the spiritual forces behind them, and we pray for people to repent and be saved, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4.

The scriptures you cited about Egypt and the enemies of Israel show God's sovereign judgment in history, but the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. Our calling is to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and to remember that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We do not overcome darkness by calling down curses of bloodshed, but by standing in the victory of Jesus Christ who already triumphed over all the kingdom of darkness at the cross.

We also want to pray with you about marriage and debts. We believe marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we pray that if you are seeking marriage, you will pursue courtship with a fellow believer in Christ with the goal of a godly marriage that honors the Lord, for a wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives and a husband to his wife, and what God has joined together, let no man separate, Mark 10:9. Regarding finances, God calls us to be faithful stewards, to work diligently and to owe no one anything, except to love one another, Romans 13:8, and we pray for His provision and wisdom for you rather than seeking that others be forced to pay under a curse.

We encourage you to take practical steps as well, reporting stolen money and ID cards to the proper authorities, seeking godly counsel for your debts, and putting on the whole armor of God daily in your workplace through prayer, the Word, and righteous living, trusting the Lord to be your defender.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne, Acts 4:12, and we thank You that through Jesus we can approach You with confidence. We lift up our brother to You and ask for Your protection, deliverance, and peace. Lord, we ask that You expose and break every assignment of darkness, every occult practice, every marine spirit and work of witchcraft, and that You nullify it by the blood of Jesus. We do not ask for the death of people, but we ask that You bring conviction, repentance, and salvation to those who have done evil, and that You render their wicked schemes powerless. We ask for Your justice and Your mercy to prevail.

Father, we pray for restoration where there has been theft and loss. You see the stolen money and ID cards, You know the debts that weigh heavy, and we ask that You provide, that You open doors for honest work, that You grant wisdom to steward finances well, and that You supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Teach us to trust in You with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, Proverbs 3:5. We pray for a successful, Christ-centered marriage if it is Your will, that You would prepare a godly spouse who loves You, and build a union that glorifies You in purity and faithfulness, fleeing all fornication and impurity, for this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, 1 Thessalonians 4:3.

Lord, guard our brother's heart from bitterness and the desire for revenge. Fill him with Your love, Your forgiveness, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let him overcome evil with good and walk in freedom, knowing that You are his defender and his provider. We surrender this workplace, these finances, and this future marriage into Your hands, asking that Your will be done. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

It makes sense you would feel overwhelmed and want God to step in powerfully to defend and restore you.

We want to stand with you for what is right and good, for your safety, for peace in your workplace, for wisdom with your finances and marriage, and for God to be your protector and provider. While we leave justice in His hands, we can trust Him to see what has been lost and to guide you day by day.

One steady next step that may help is to take both spiritual and practical ground together, keep bringing these burdens to the Lord in prayer, and also take practical steps to protect what remains. If you have not already, consider reporting the stolen ID cards and documenting the financial loss with the appropriate authorities and your workplace, and talking with a trusted pastor or counselor who knows you personally about the marriage and workplace strain so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection over him, for provision for the debts and losses, for peace and clarity at work, and for strength for his marriage. Give him wisdom for each decision and remind him that he is secure in Christ. Lead him in Your will and bring restoration in the way You know is best. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with gravity and with love for your soul.

We understand the weight of what you carry, debts that press heavily, the desire for a faithful marriage, the distress of theft and of opposition in your workplace, and the fear that arises when you feel surrounded by darkness and occult power. Affliction of this kind is real, and Scripture does not make light of it. The believer may truly say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, and yet also say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

We must speak to you plainly concerning the manner of prayer to which you are drawn. The heart that is wounded often cries out for its enemies to be struck down and their blood shed and their dwellings burned. Yet our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our deliverance, teaches us another way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay. We are commanded to love our enemies and to pray for those who oppose us, that they might be brought to repentance, and to seek our deliverance not by calling down destruction upon men, but by looking to Him who has found a ransom.

The deliverance we need most is not first from men, but from sin and from the power of darkness. The Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance is not by our will nor by our imprecations, but by the mercy of God who gave His Son as a ransom. There is a music of a marriage peal in that word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. When the lamb was slain, He brought them forth, and that same blood which brought Israel out of Egypt now brings sinners out of bondage, not that we may gloat over fallen foes, but that we may be enriched with silver and gold of grace, with forgiveness and peace.

Therefore we will not join you in asking God to plague men unto death or to shed their blood or to make them your footstool in the manner you have described. To pray so would be to ask God to do what He has forbidden us to desire for our own vengeance. Instead we pray as the saints have ever prayed, that God would make your deliverance effectual, that He Himself would bring you forth.

Let us pray together for what is according to His will.

O Gracious Father, we come through Jesus Christ, the only Mediator and the only ransom for sinners. We ask that this dear soul would know that deliverance is of the Lord alone, and that whosoever trusts in the slain Lamb shall be delivered from the pit. Grant repentance and faith where it is needed, and assure this heart that the clock of mercy strikes even now for all who look to Christ.

We ask for Your protection over this life, over what has been stolen, over identity and livelihood and the place of work. Restrain every evil work and every worker of darkness, frustrate every fetish and every counsel of the occult, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Bring to nothing the power of sin and Satan, as You alone can deliver from the power of darkness. If it be Your will, restore what has been taken, and grant lawful justice through rightful means.

We ask for wisdom and provision concerning debts. Teach faithful stewardship, provide daily bread, and help to owe no man anything but to love one another. If marriage be sought, grant it according to Your holy institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered into in purity and fidelity, and let any marriage be built upon Christ, in love and holiness.

We pray also for those who have done wrong. Have mercy upon them, bring them to the light, that they may be delivered themselves from darkness and not perish in it. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be hallowed in judgment and in mercy.

We leave vengeance in Your hands, and we ask for peace within our borders and deliverance from the archers of discord. Make this trial to be a testimony, that after affliction this soul may live and declare the works of the Lord, giving all honor to Free Grace alone.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our song of deliverance and our greater salvation. Amen.
