Jesus taught that in the resurrection people will not marry as they do now but will be like the angels in heaven, which tells us that marriage belongs to this present life and is meant to be honored here as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. If you are seeking marriage, pray that God would lead you into that kind of covenant union, built on faithfulness, purity, and a shared commitment to follow Christ, and that He would give you and your future spouse wisdom to steward finances honestly and to bear one another's burdens with love.
You also described enemies, theft, and spiritual oppression and asked for plagues and destruction to fall on people. It is right to hate evil and to ask God for deliverance and justice, for He sees every wrong and will judge righteously. The Scriptures that remember the plagues in Egypt and the prayers for justice in the Psalms point to a greater deliverance. At Passover God delivered His people from bondage in Egypt through the blood of a lamb for each family. That deliverance points forward to a greater deliverance from the bondage of sin through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Our deepest need is not only rescue from people who harm us but rescue from sin itself, and that rescue comes only through faith in Jesus.
Because of that, the New Testament calls us to respond to those who wrong us differently than calling down curses and bloodshed. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay. Jesus calls His followers to love their enemies and pray for those who oppose them, desiring their repentance rather than their destruction. The sign of true conversion when sinners came to Jesus was not that they continued as before, but that there was repentance, a real change of heart and life, and where possible, restoration of what was taken. There were tax collectors and sinners who sat with Jesus and then followed Him, their lives turned in a new direction.
So in place of asking God to shed blood or to make others your footstool, we can pray with confidence for what God does promise to do. We can ask Him to protect you from every form of darkness and witchcraft, to break its power completely through Christ, to guard your identity, your finances, and your workplace, and to expose and stop every dishonest scheme. We can ask Him to provide for your debts, to give you wisdom in work and stewardship, and to restore what has been stolen in the ways He sees fit, whether through justice, through honest provision, or through His own gracious supply. And we can pray that those who have done evil would come under conviction, repent, and be changed by the gospel, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Let me pray for you in that direction. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your deliverance and protection over this life, this future marriage, and this work. Cover what has been lost and stolen, guard against every work of darkness, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Provide for every financial need, grant wisdom to manage what You have entrusted, and lead toward a marriage that honors You in purity and lifelong faithfulness. Bring justice in Your perfect way and time, and bring conviction and repentance to those who do evil, that they might turn from darkness to light and find forgiveness through the Lamb who was slain. Fill this heart with peace, trust, and hope in the resurrection and in Your faithful care. Amen.
