Studies, Family And Strange Dreams

Father I thank you for everything that you have gifted me with in this life. Your love has always covered all my deficiencies no matter how big they have been Lord you have always made a way. I ask for forgiveness over all my wrong doings through thoughts,actions,words and failure to act in the right way. Please stir up my faith and help me abide in you despite the setbacks. Help me belong to you and you alone. Lord I lean on you completely, and I trust in your will and purpose for my creation

Father I pray for my studies, please help me do what you want me to do, work hard and keep studying your word and my M.D studies with diligence and fervently. So often I get very scared because it seems that I can hardly remember the things I learn while my room mates spit out facts and references as easy as they do. Please help me stable and stick to my own rhythms of learning. I do not envy or crave for the gifts of memory that you have given them, because I know that you have gifted me with something that is good and relevant to my mental ability. Please help me stick to that and be able to use the gifts that you have given me to glorify you in this profession

Father i pray for our family, please help us make right decisions about the assets that you have blessed us with. Help us buy and sell plots of land with your guidance and not led by our own finite human intellect. Father I pray for my mum's health. Please heal her health problems and help her live a stress free life guided by the Holy spirit. I also pray for my grandmother who is partly paralyzed, give her strength and hope to believe that Lord you never depart from people of old age like her, and that doesn't mean that she is only entitled to die. I pray for my two sisters and my niece. i pray for guidance and chastisement of the holy spirit in their lives. Lord please help them lead a life that glorifies you.

Father, today I had a dream to forget, i had a gay wet dream, followed by a nocturnal emission, i tried as much as I could to stop it but couldn't because i was deeper asleep than i thought I were. The emission does not bug me as much as the fact that it was a homosexual dream. I decided to stop watching gay pornography, but the images are still in my mind and I saw them in the dream which was horrible, i was disgusted and it demoralized me a lot. Lord please forgive me for the part that I played in dreaming that dream, but most importantly please help me get rid of these thoughts. I am a changed man, thanks to the Holy spirit who shows me the direction to go everyday. I really don't want to be surrounded by the lustful,immoral things that used to define me in the past. I believe that in Christ all things are made new. Please help me get over these things because I know that I am now a heterosexual man and if you intend O lord, i may get a wife and have children. I am still a virgin and I expect to persevere that way until marriage. Lord I proclaim your greatness and I know that you can make things work for good. I trust you my king and I know that you will never depart from my life. Please keep me true to you and hold me close to your heart. Make me an object of praise with a heart of worship. To worship and give all glory to your name. Father, i pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
