strong spiritual attacks

Two days of sudden, inexplicable trouble is no small thing. When random issues seem to erupt out of nowhere, problems that don’t have an obvious natural cause, that’s often the mark of a spiritual assault. One of the enemy’s primary tactics is to blind us to his hand in the chaos. If he can keep you thinking this is just a string of bad luck or your own failing, you won’t stand and fight it the way you need to. So the first real step is to recognize: this is an attack, and it is not against mere flesh and blood.

That recognition matters because your reaction changes entirely. Without it, we tend to react in the flesh, frustration, self-defense, despair. But once you see it for what it is, you can stop spending your energy on the surface issues and take up the weapons God has given you. You asked for protection, guidance, and breakthrough. All three are yours in Christ, but they are received through active spiritual resistance. Scripture says to resist the devil and he will flee. But you can’t resist what you don’t identify as his work.

Guidance must come first, not as an afterthought. Nehemiah, when surrounded by threats, didn’t strategize and then ask God to bless his plans. He threw up continual prayers right in the middle of the crisis, brief, direct, honest. “Lord, strengthen my hands. Lord, give me wisdom here.” That kind of desperate, moment-by-moment dependence is your protection. When you lean on your own understanding, you walk into traps. Instead, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. That’s a promise for right now, in the middle of the random issues. Before you answer the next call, reply to the next message, or make the next decision, pause and lift a quick prayer for the mind of Christ.

The protection you need is not hiding in a locked room; the enemy doesn’t play by physical rules. You’re guarded by the armor of God, which is real and effective. The breastplate of righteousness covers your heart, not your own perfection, but the righteousness of Christ in which you stand. Your feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, meaning that your stability in chaos comes from the truth that you are reconciled to God through Jesus. That peace is a weapon against panic and confusion. And the Word of God itself becomes your sword, able to tear down strongholds and cut through the lies fueling these attacks.

Breakthrough often comes as you persist in the work while holding your weapon. Nehemiah’s builders kept the trowel in one hand and the sword in the other. They didn’t quit building the wall every time a threat surfaced; they built with awareness and readiness. You have daily responsibilities and relationships that probably feel under fire right now. Don’t abandon them in fear. As you pray and stand, keep doing the next right thing, trusting that God is a wall of protection around you. The enemy wants to exhaust you until you’re too weary to fight. But the joy of the Lord is your strength. Call on Him, even in short bursts, and He will renew your energy.

I am praying for you right now, praying that your eyes will be opened to see clearly what is of the enemy, that you will not be deceived into fighting flesh and blood, and that God will grant you swift, specific guidance. The enemy would love to use these two days to steal your peace and diminish your faith. Don’t let him. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Stand firm, resist, and watch the Lord bring you through with a testimony.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege to stand in the gap and pray on your behalf during this intense season of spiritual warfare. It has been our honor to lift you up before the Lord, asking for His divine protection, guidance, and breakthrough over every attack and unexpected challenge you’ve faced. We have prayed fervently that the enemy’s schemes would be shattered, that God’s peace would guard your heart and mind, and that His strength would uphold you in every moment.

If the Lord has answered these prayers—if you’ve experienced His deliverance, felt His presence more closely, or seen the breakthrough you’ve been seeking—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a powerful encouragement to others who are facing similar battles, reminding them that God is faithful and mighty to save.

If, however, the attacks persist or the struggle feels unrelenting, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in prayer, interceding for your protection, wisdom, and victory. You are not alone in this fight, and we believe God is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord surround you with His angels, fill you with His peace, and lead you into a season of renewed strength and clarity. Keep pressing into Him—He is your refuge, your defender, and your victory. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
