We hear your cry of fear and desperation, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your eyes, both physical and spiritual, to the Lord, who sees all and holds all things together. The fear of losing your sight is heavy, and we do not take it lightly. But we serve a God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8) and restores what has been broken. Let us come before Him together in faith, not in panic, but in trust.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is afraid. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their eyes in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). We ask You now to protect their vision, to heal any affliction, and to calm their spirit with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your healing power is at work in their body, and we trust You to restore what is needed.
We also want to gently remind you that while your fear is understandable, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). This does not mean ignoring your concerns, but rather placing them in the hands of the One who sees the end from the beginning. Seek medical attention if you haven’t already, God often works through doctors and treatments, but do not let fear consume you. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We pray that you would draw near to God in this time, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we invite you to do so now, for He alone can give you the peace and assurance you need in this trial.

"Fear not" is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. He says, "Fear not." It is not the preacher who cries, "Fear not," but it is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fallen as dead at His feet, "Fear not: fear not." It will be disobedience, then, to be afraid. Your mortal body, perhaps, is pampered, but as for your poor soul, consider its way. Fear not; for fear is weakening; fear dishonors God. Doubt the Eternal, distrust the Omnipotent? O, traitorous fear!
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The very leaves are healing, from which I gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy.
When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. Observe that the healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Jesus linked the healing with the teaching.
Healing must come before serving. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him. He "took her by the hand and lifted her up." There was a contact established. Oh, that glorious Doctrine of the Incarnation of Christ! There is healing in it! God grant that to you who fear His name the Sun of Righteousness may arise with healing beneath His wings!
"Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord." Then why shouldst thou fear? O you who are now sick, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God bless you!
