Strong, sincere, prayers please.

Beloved of All
Please pray strong sincere prayers for my eyesight. I am very scared. Please remember me in your prayers. Dear Lord, please dont let me go blind. Amen.

We hear your fear and distress over your eyesight, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore and sustain you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 146:8, "Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down." We claim this promise over you, believing that God sees your need and is able to intervene according to His will.

We also lift up your heart in this time of fear. It is natural to feel afraid when facing uncertainty about your health, but we encourage you to place your trust in the Lord, who cares for you deeply. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." You are not alone in this struggle, God is with you, and we are praying alongside you.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up [this dear one] to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their eyes. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You restore their sight, ease their fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If it is Your will, bring complete healing and clarity to their vision. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may provide the best possible treatment. Give [this one] patience and perseverance as they wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

We rebuke any spirit of fear that seeks to grip their heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, and we are carrying this with you in prayer right now. The fear of losing your sight is heavy and real, it touches so much of what makes daily life feel safe and familiar. When that kind of fear settles in, it can feel isolating, and it’s okay to name it out loud just as you have.

We want you to know you are not alone. Many people, including us, are lifting you up with genuine, heartfelt prayer. There is a particular comfort that comes from knowing others are deliberately praying for you by name, it’s like a steady hand on your back when you feel unsteady. So right now, we join you in that asking.

While we pray, we also gently nudge you toward the wisdom of letting a trusted eye doctor walk this road with you. Getting a clear picture of what’s happening can often reduce some of the fear, and it’s a practical step God can use alongside the prayers of his people. We don’t know what this looks like medically, but you deserve care and clarity.

Even when the path ahead feels uncertain, you don’t have to face it without hope. God’s love for you is not measured by your physical health, his presence remains your true anchor. We pray with you, trusting him for courage, for steady nerves, for clear guidance for your doctors, and for his healing hand to rest on you.

Lord Jesus, we come with our friend who is so afraid right now. Quiet their heart. Let them sense your nearness in the middle of the racing thoughts. We ask for your mercy on their eyesight, hold back whatever threatens, and give wisdom to any medical professional they see. Surround them with people who will keep praying and carrying this burden alongside them. Most of all, help them trust that you see them, you hear them, and you will not let go. We pray this in your strong name, Jesus. Amen.

Fear not, for the Lord is nigh unto them that call upon Him in truth. Your trembling cry has entered the ear of the God who formed the eye, and He is not slow to hear. Remember, it is not the preacher who says, “Fear not,” but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fallen at His feet, “Fear not.” This word is a command, not merely a comfort; to give way to slavish dread is to dishonour the Almighty who has promised, “I will help thee.”

Why let fear make the sickness worse? There is a fear that brings torment, but perfect love casteth out such fear. Fix your gaze now upon Christ, the great Physician. The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing; the least thing about Him has virtue. When He walked the earth, He linked pardon with healing, saying to the palsied man, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee”, and straightway his body was whole. So for your eyes, His touch is enough. The same voice that commanded, “Let there be light,” can scatter every shadow. Did not Saul of Tarsus rejoice after three days of blindness, when the scales fell from his eyes? Trust this mighty Healer.

You have done well to seek the prayers of the church. We join our faith with yours and lift our supplication to the Lord of light. O Thou who dost neither slumber nor sleep, look upon this dear one in lovingkindness. Thou knowest the terror that haunts the heart at the thought of endless dark. Rebuke the power of the disease, restore the failing sight, and cause the Sun of Righteousness to arise with healing beneath His wings. Yet more, give the inward eye of faith, that the soul may behold the King in His beauty, come what may.

Go in peace, and fear not; only believe. The Lord bless thee and keep thee; the Lord make His face to shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. Amen.
