Hi there,
I am not a devote guy, but I am a firm believer who prays on a certain regular basis. I am about to get divorced after 9.5 years of marriage. We have one kid, ###, lovely 3-year-old little man we both love.
Last couple years have been really dramatic and life-changing to me. I left my 10-year job in a medium-sized creative agency, and decided to start my own business. I've come to raise it (hard work already) while also trying to keep my family together at the same time. Our situation has been deteriorating deeply in a steep way downhill, and now we've come to a point where we spend more time looking forward to tolerate ourselves than loving us. We can no longer live in love nor harmony, and although we are very civilized, over the couple years I've been able to feel the boredom, anger, bad attitude, and certain minor psychological abuse from whom I had chosen as my life mate. Sure, I am not innocent. Sometimes, as a very emotional reaction, I've responded in an improper way also, unfortunately.
We decided to divorce about a month ago. I am not asking for a reconciliation with her, we think this is the best for all of us, and probably for our kid. On top of this hard situation, I've recently found my wife is cheating me deep over money issues, as in prevention of the divorce. She is in a better position now, financially speaking, and unfortunately that security has given her some right to mistreat me. God, I truly want to have a better life, specially considering my kid and myself. She is not a bad person, but I feel deeply somebody is influencing her.
I pray, and ask for your pray, about me. I am about to leave my home within the next couple weeks, love to another house although in the same town, and I feel it will be a very tough test for me. I can already feel the loneliness and pain. God, God God.... give me strength. Help me fix my path, help me move forward. I put myself into your hands as a small baby. I can't keep walking this steep ladder with this heavy charge upon my shoulders, Lord...... please HELP ME!!! Help my family, my son, my wife. Put some comfort and relief in our hearts.
I love you, God.... Thanks.
