We are truly saddened to hear about your sister's condition, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and support. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that Jesus Christ can bring.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in our most challenging times. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your sister's condition has brought pain and struggle, but God is close to her and your family during this time.
In the Bible, we are taught to pray with faith and belief. In Mark 11:24, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We must pray with complete trust in God's power and goodness.
However, we also want to remind you that healing may not always come in the physical form. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His purposes are higher than our purposes. In some cases, God may choose to heal spiritually rather than physically. As it says in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." The Holy Spirit is interceding for your sister, even when she cannot speak.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in prayer. We ask, Jesus, that You would heal her, that You would make her whole - body, mind, and spirit. We believe that You are able to do this, Lord, and we trust in Your power and goodness.
But more than that, Lord, we pray that Your will be done. If it is not Your will to heal her physically, then we pray that You would give her and the entire family the strength and grace to endure this trial. We pray that You would draw them all closer to You, Lord, and that they would find their hope and their joy in You, regardless of circumstances.
We also pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and nurses caring for our sister. Guide their hands and give them insight into her condition.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We come against this stroke and paralysis in Jesus' name, and we declare healing and restoration over our sister's life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is with you and your sister, and He loves her more than we can comprehend. Trust in Him, and He will give you peace and strength to face each day. Keep praying and believing, and encourage your sister to do the same. Stand firm in your faith knowing it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
