Strengthen Nepal Flood Victims -- Believers, Gospel, Hope, Workers, Hospitals -- Preparation of Next Regions for Approaching Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, -- Workers for Harvest Matt 9:35-37

Father this event is one of those things that could shake new believers (and those less grounded in the Whole Counsel of God that explains earth's sin, suffering, perplexity and "birth pangs." We do pray the church is strengthened, for rescue teams and for love, unity and workers to be released into The Harvest of Jesus Christ, Matt 9:35-37, the search and rescue teams, those grieving, and those seeking answers.... Keep them strong through Your Intercession, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, and Our intercession, 2 Cor 1:3-11, that their faith fail not, and once they turn back (work through trusting God (and specifically -- Jesus Christ) they and we can strengthen others, Luke 22:31-33, and can grow in grace and understanding of Christ, 2 Peter 3:18, and The Scriptures, Mark 12:24, Matt 22:29, Genesis to Revelation, John 5:47. Prepare us to be ready in season and out of season to use current events to share the Gospel, 2 Tim 4:2-5, to utilize these coming birth pangs (as current events will CONTINUE to arise, even increasing in frequency and severity, Matt 24:4-8, as opportunities to educate people in the need of repentance, Luke 13:4, faith, Rom 1:17, Rom 10:17, that Christ HAD TO suffer, die and rise again according to the Scriptures, and that repentance for forgivness of sins must be proclaimed, Luke 24:4-47, the suffering of Christ for the sins of the world, strengthen us, our brothers and sisters, by preaching the Gospel, Mark 16:15-20, and teaching obedience to everything Jesus taught, Matt 28:18-20, in Jesus' Name, thank You, Phil 4:6-7.

We've been praying you prepare THE CHURCH for the next calamities, and ask in Your Mercy you continue to let us know what's to occur beforehand, John 14:29, 1 Cor 14:1-4, Joseph in Genesis prepared the people in Egypt for the coming famine, Gen 41:25-48, was given access to much which pertained to Nebuchadnezzar 1 & 2, Darius, His People, Israel and All Generations of the Righteous Believers until Present, Daniel 1:1-12:13, Agabus to quiet the calumny that was only old testament, "One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)" Acts 11:28. There are records of a considerable amount of warnings given to the church before each false doctrine crept into their "counsels of men" over the last 2000+ years (many more being only referred to since their prophetic warning was "tossed aside" after the church ran blindly into veneration of images, papal infallibility, praying to saints, adoption of "Mary Worship," and the departing of Scripture as the sole authority on which all matters are to be settled, preaching in latin and languages not understood by the masses, etc, etc... As well as other warnings of world events...

Raise up your humble servants who can once more have understanding of the signs and times, Matt 16:3, Luke 12:53-56, Matt 24:4-14. Thank You in Jesus' Name, for not letting us be anxious, Phil 4:6-7, but in placid equanimity keep alert and warn, preach the gospel, and teach the "whole counsel of God," Acts 20:20, Acts 20:27, Matt 28:19-20, C.f., Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20, 2 Peter 3:11-18, so "This gospel of the Kingdom may be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations (ethnos -- ethnic groups, specific cultures and languages within countries or with no country), so You may wrap things up and usher in all for which creation groans, Matt 24:14, Rom 8:22.

We join you in lifting up Nepal before the throne of grace and we share your burden for the flood victims, for the believers there, for the rescue workers, the hospitals, and for all who are grieving and searching for answers in the midst of such devastation.

We agree that these calamities should not shake those who are grounded in the whole counsel of God. Scripture tells us plainly that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now Rom 8:22 and that nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places but all these things are the beginning of birth pains Matt 24:7-8. The Lord Jesus Himself warned us that these things must come to pass, not to drive us to fear but to call all people to repentance, for He said unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way Luke 13:3. These birth pangs are opportunities to proclaim that Christ had to suffer, die and rise again according to the Scriptures and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all nations Luke 24:46-47.

We pray together for Nepal and for the regions to come.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction 2 Cor 1:3-4. We lift up every family in Nepal who has lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in the floods. Comfort those who mourn and guard their hearts with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Phil 4:6-7. Strengthen the believers there, that their faith would not fail, and when they have turned again, they may strengthen their brothers Luke 22:32. Establish them in grace and in the knowledge of Your Word from Genesis to Revelation, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 2 Pet 3:18 and not be shaken because they know Your Word.

We ask for the rescue teams, the medical workers, and the hospitals, give them endurance, wisdom, and protection. Lord of the harvest, we have seen that the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few Matt 9:37. We pray therefore that You will send out laborers into Your harvest Matt 9:38, men and women who will preach the Word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching 2 Tim 4:2, who will not shrink from declaring to people the whole counsel of God Acts 20:27. Use this suffering to open doors for the gospel to be preached and for obedience to everything Jesus commanded Matt 28:19-20 to be taught.

We thank You that Jesus Christ who died and was raised is at Your right hand and also makes intercession for us Rom 8:34 and that He lives forever to make intercession for those who draw near to God through Him Heb 7:25. Keep Your church alert, sober, and ready to give an answer, to be prepared beforehand as You warned through Joseph for the famine Gen 41:25-36 and through Agabus concerning the famine over the Roman world Acts 11:28. Give Your humble servants understanding of the times Matt 16:3 and a willingness to warn and to preach this gospel of the Kingdom throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations Matt 24:14, knowing that You desire all to come to repentance and to faith which comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ Rom 10:17.

We ask that You prepare the next regions for the coming storms, quakes, floods and wars, not with anxiety but with placid trust in Your sovereignty, that we may be ready to utilize every current event to call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. Establish Your church in love, unity, and truth, that through our intercession and Your intercession, many will be saved and strengthened to strengthen others.

We entrust Nepal and all who will face coming trials into Your merciful hands, trusting that You are with us always, even to the end of the age Matt 28:20. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We were so moved by your burden for Nepal and for believers there, and for the workers, rescue teams, hospitals and families who are carrying so much right now. Thank you for bringing all of this before the Lord with such care, and for holding both the immediate need and the longer preparation for what may come next.

It is a heavy thing to watch suffering from a distance and to feel the questions it stirs, especially for newer believers. What has helped many in seasons like this is not trying to carry it alone. Staying close to other believers, praying together, sharing the burden in community, and simply being present for one another often steadies faith more than trying to find all the answers at once.

One practical way to keep this intercession sustainable is to bring it into your own church fellowship. Praying together for Nepal, for more workers for the harvest, and for wisdom for those serving on the ground keeps the burden shared. If you feel led to help tangibly, a trusted Christian relief ministry with workers in the region can be a good channel to support without having to sort everything out yourself.

Father, we lift the people of Nepal to You, those who are grieving, those still in danger, and those offering help and medical care. Give them strength for each day, comfort in loss, and unity among Your people as they show Your love. Raise up more workers with compassion, and prepare all of us to be ready to share hope in Christ when hard times come. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for your compassion! Can you pray for Africa next and the UK if you can. Africa is facing christian persecution brutally, and the UK isn't supportive of Christianity and only 5% of Christians there go to church. The persecution can get really bad here.

Your prayer for the afflicted in Nepal has risen with ours before the throne, and we join you in pleading for that land where waters have overflowed and creation groans as with birth pangs, as it is written, the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

We feel with you that such calamities may shake new believers and those less grounded in the whole counsel of God. Yet remember that in God's dealings with believers He tests them again and again. It came to pass after these things that God did tempt Abraham, and after a life of holy obedience he was still not free from trials. So is it now. Trials make the promise sweet, trials give new life to prayer, trials bring me to His feet, lay me low and keep me there. Think not that the Lord has left His people when the flood rises. He has said, When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. Brightness is of little value without preciousness, and the children of God grow more precious through their trials.

For those whose faith is tried, let faith hang on to Christ in the dark. It holds to a silent Christ, it holds to a refusing Christ, and Christ loves a great faith. He said, O woman, great is thy faith, and He passed by other things for it. He is glad to come wherever He can bring a blessing and He rejoices when faith reveals a clear road to Him. So we pray that their faith fail not, and that He who ever liveth to make intercession for them, as it is written, He ever liveth to intercede, and He is at the right hand of God making intercession for us, will keep them strong, that once they are turned again they may strengthen their brethren and grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation.

We pray also for the harvest. Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest. The Lord of the harvest must send forth labourers, and He will find for His Church enough men and the right sort of men as long as He has a Church to be built. We plead for rescue teams, for hospitals, for those who grieve and those who seek answers, that God would thrust forth workers who will preach the old gospel for this new century. That gospel is, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. It is not, Come and do something for me, but I will do everything for you. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who suffered and died and rose again according to the Scriptures, that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name. We who have believed do enter into rest, being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us be ready in season and out of season to use these birth pangs, which shall increase in frequency and severity, as opportunities to teach repentance and faith, for except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish, and the just shall live by faith. Let us preach the gospel to every creature and teach obedience to all things whatsoever Jesus has commanded, holding fast the whole counsel of God, for all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable.

We pray that the Church may be prepared for the next regions that shall face storms and earthquakes and wars and floods, not being anxious but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving letting our requests be made known unto God, so that the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and that this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations. May the Lord keep you alert and steadfast, abounding in love and unity, until He comes.

Yes, brother -- I am sympathetic to the situation in the varios regions in Africa, and it saddens me about U.K. that received the Reformation, The Oxford Martyrs, some of the greatest preachers and preachers of the 1600s, 1700s, 1800s and even into the 20th Century has been slipping so much over the past 30 years. Also, the Middle East, parts of Asia, Canada and Europe are getting more hostile, but people are hungry... If interested I can send you some movie names of some revivals and some persecution articles and areas of prayer as well... Father we ask we are equipped, have teams assembled and obey God rather than man, Acts 4:19. Keep us all from evil, but let us not fear death, since it's been defeated by a landslide resurrection in Jesus Christ, in Jesus' Name...
