Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the believers in Nepal and for the preparation of the church for approaching storms, earthquakes, wars and other birth pangs.
We have continued to lift up your request before the Lord. We have prayed that God would strengthen the new believers and those less grounded in the whole counsel of God, that they would not be shaken by this calamity but would be rooted and grounded through suffering and perplexity. We have prayed for the rescue teams, for love and unity among the brethren, and that the Lord of the harvest would release more workers into the harvest as you asked according to Matt 9:37. We have also joined you in praying that their faith would not fail through His intercession for them according to Rom 8:34 and Heb 7:25 and through our intercession that they may turn back and strengthen their brothers and sisters according to Luke 22:32.
We have also stood with you in praying that the church would be prepared for the next calamities to come, that God would raise up humble servants with understanding of the signs of the times according to Matt 16:3 and Matt 24:14, and that we would continue to preach the gospel and teach the whole counsel of God according to Acts 20:27 without anxiety according to Phil 4:6.
