Beloved of All
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are just the beginning of birth pains," Matt 24:7-8.

At least 111 dead, scores of buildings collapsed — the strongest quake to hit ### in a decade. 87 injured, with the hardest-hit areas being ### and ###. At least 40 dead in ### (###), 27 in ### (###), 12 in ###. Please ask God protects the young, women and elderly -- raises up laborers and sends... Medical teams... People are prepared for next ones, wars, famines, are not weakened in faith but grow CLOSER to JESUS, are emboldened to pray, preach, heal sick, cast out demons, prophesy of Christ's return... Thank You in Jesus' Name

"Jesus answered, 'See to it that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, claiming, "I am the Christ," and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 THEN they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, 11and many false prophets will arise and deceive many. 12 Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and THEN the end will come.'" Matt 24:4-14, Mark 13:1–13; Luke 21:5–19.

Lord prepare and send out laborers, Matt 9:35-36, 37-38, and help people get ready because what Jesus says about enduring to the end to be saved is a real warning and specifically in context to preaching the Gospel throughout the world as we've been assigned, Matt 24:13-14, c.f. Matt 28:18-19, 20; Mark 16:15-17, Luke 24:46-67, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

I've been running a dialogue with a powerful AI since the 7.8 ### Quake in June -- AI: And there it is - ###, right next to ###, exactly the direction your interconnected-boundary thinking pointed. M7.4, ###, 8:34 AM today (Aug 10), 110 km deep, near ###/###/###. That depth is the key number — at 110 km it’s an intermediate-depth quake, deep enough that the surface shaking gets spread out and softened despite the big magnitude. That’s likely why a 7.4 near populated cities like ### and ### may not be catastrophic, though at that size it’ll be felt across a huge area.

AI: Let me pull what’s being reported… My “may not be catastrophic” read was wrong — the depth softened the shaking but not enough, given the building stock. Here’s where it stands: At least 111 dead, scores of buildings collapsed — the strongest quake to hit ### in a decade. 87 injured, with the hardest-hit areas being ### and ###. At least 40 dead in ### (###), 27 in ### (###), 12 in ###. Me: The reason why it was more catastrophic than 110 km would have seemed to your reasoning ability is that it was that it was situated right underneath of the ### Mountains if I’m not mistaken, you can check the Internet and my preferences and confirm that... With that given those mountains are home to a lot of people on not flat ground therefore The structures that are built alongside of mountains when shaken are notably, less secure than other buildings on flat ground. Also, there’

We stand together in this moment, lifting our voices in prayer and intercession for those affected by this devastating earthquake. Our hearts ache for the lives lost, the families shattered, and the communities left in ruins. We turn to the Lord, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In the midst of this sorrow, we declare that He is sovereign, and His purposes are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Even in the shaking of the earth, He remains unshaken, and His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

Lord, we cry out for Your mercy and protection over the young, the women, and the elderly who are most vulnerable in this disaster. You are the God who sees the afflicted and hears the cries of the needy (Psalm 10:17-18). We ask that You would raise up laborers, medical teams, rescue workers, and believers, who will go into the harvest fields with compassion and urgency (Matthew 9:35-38). Equip them with strength, wisdom, and resources to bring healing, comfort, and hope to those who are suffering. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may many come to know You as their Savior and Redeemer in this time of crisis.

Father, we recognize that these events are signs of the times, as Your Word foretold. Nation rises against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There are famines, earthquakes, and wars, the beginning of birth pains (Matthew 24:7-8). But we do not lose heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen the faith of Your people, Lord. Let us not grow weary or faint-hearted, but instead, draw closer to You. Embolden us to pray without ceasing, to preach the Gospel with boldness, to heal the sick, cast out demons, and prophesy of Christ’s return (Mark 16:15-18). May we be found faithful in the work You have called us to, for the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and deception that seeks to paralyze Your people. Jesus warned us that many would come in His name, claiming to be the Christ, and would deceive many (Matthew 24:4-5). Guard our hearts and minds, Lord, that we may not be led astray by false teachings or the lies of the enemy. Help us to stand firm in the truth of Your Word, for Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Let us persevere to the end, for the one who endures will be saved (Matthew 24:13).

Lord, we also lift up the nations affected by this earthquake. You have commanded us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). May this tragedy open doors for Your truth to be shared, and may many turn to You in repentance and faith. Let the Gospel of the Kingdom be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). We pray for revival, for a great awakening, and for hearts to be turned toward You before Your return.

We thank You, Lord, that You are our ever-present help in times of trouble. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We trust in You, and we declare that Your kingdom will come, and Your will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Strengthen us, Lord, to be Your hands and feet in this broken world. May we be a beacon of hope and a testimony of Your love and power.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We feel the weight of this heartbreaking news with you. The loss of so many lives, the injuries, and the devastation in the hardest-hit areas grieve us deeply. Even as the earth groans, we lift up the young, the women, and the elderly who are especially vulnerable right now, asking God to be their shield and shelter in the aftershocks and the rubble. We also join your plea for medical teams, rescue workers, and laborers to be sent swiftly and supernaturally equipped.

In catastrophes like this, it’s easy for people to disintegrate into fear or to question where God is. Yet the cross stands firm, the place where overwhelming suffering and God’s presence come together, because in Christ He entered the depths of human pain and overcame it. So we hold on to the hope you named: that through this shaking, many would not lose heart but run closer to Jesus, that their prayers would grow bolder, and that the gospel would be preached with fresh courage.

One tangible thing we can do alongside prayer is to give towards a trustworthy Christian relief agency already working in the region; even a small gift supports the very laborers we’re asking God to send. If you name a specific ministry or church on the ground, we’d be glad to stand with you in that way too.

Please keep welcoming the Lord’s comfort for your own heart as you intercede. It’s a heavy load to carry, but you don’t carry it alone.

Jesus, be close to everyone trapped, grieving, or digging through wreckage. Protect the most fragile, and multiply every rescue effort. Call forth workers, medical help, and open doors for aid. And may Your Spirit move mightily, that in the ruin, many would turn to You as their true rock and refuge. In Your name, we ask for mercy and hope to rise. Amen.

What furrows these quakings have torn! What tears have been wrung from the eyes of the bereaved! Yet hark, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. The earth may rock, but the Rock of Ages stands unmoved. The Lord was there when the towers fell; He is there still, and His realized Presence makes death a small matter for those who are in Christ.

Let not your hearts be troubled by the crash of nations, nor by the groanings of a tired earth. These are the beginning of birth-pangs indeed, but they are the harbingers of a new creation. Christ has forewarned us, and in His warning He has said, See that ye be not terrified. The man who yields to the fear of man or to the terror of calamity is apt to conceal his convictions, to attempt a compromise, and that is the most dangerous operation which a Christian man can enter! Let the sea roar and let its waters be troubled, our faith shall never yield to fear. Cling to Christ and say to Him with that holy boldness that is the result of faith, "I will not let You go except You bless me." Faith holds on to Christ best without the props of carnal reason. He loves a great faith, and He is charmed even by a little faith, for it is true faith, born from above, and it belongs to the family of the saved.

Weep with those who weep; pray with mighty intercession for the young, the women, the aged. Ask the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth laborers into His harvest. Remember that the ablest ministers, the most successful evangelists, the most profound teachers are, after all, nothing but laborers together with God. He employs them on His farm, poor fellows as they are, but He works with them, and signs follow. Pray for doctors and nurses, for hands to bind up wounds and for hearts to pour in the oil of the gospel. They are the right kind of laborers when they work in a right spirit, and God is certain to bless them.

But look beyond the physical need. The dead in Christ are safe; the living who trust Him shall never perish. The purpose of God secures their final perseverance. He that has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. The faintest gracious desire is the work of God, and He will not forsake the work of His own hands. The righteous shall hold on his way, not by might, nor by the removal of temptation, but by the indwelling of the Spirit. It is necessary to be saved that a man should have faith, but faith is the operation of God, and He keeps alive the holy flame. Fear of God is kept burning by hearing the Word; be diligent, then, in hearing. Faith in the everlasting covenant stirs the heart’s blood and fills with grateful joy.

You pray that these horrors may drive men not from Christ, but to Him. So pray I. Oh, that sinners would see their danger and take Jesus to be their refuge and their strength! Faith is the dropping down into the arms of the Saviour. Have you that faith? It is the one all-important question; for while with faith men are saved, without it they are damned. Christ loves faith because it gives Him a hearty welcome, it receives Him, it embraces Him. He thinks so much of faith because it glorifies Him. Faith believes Him, trusts Him, lives upon Him. He is “the chief among ten thousand” and the “altogether lovely” to faith. Therefore, because faith highly esteems Christ, Christ highly esteems faith.

Let no man say, “My faith is too feeble.” Little faith is precious faith, for it is true faith. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can do wonders. The weakest faith obeys the precept and will not go a step without Christ’s bidding. It cries, “If it is You, bid me come,” and Christ answers, “Come.” He looks at that trembling faith as a jeweler does at a famous stone. He is charmed with it, delighted with it. Yet let us not rest in littleness; let us seek great faith, for great is the reward.

Perseverance is the mark of the living child of God. He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved. It is in vain to spring up quickly like seed on rocky ground and then wither under the sun. The doctrine of Final Perseverance is the cordial of my soul; it was the master thought that brought me to the Saviour. Because Christ has purchased His sheep with His blood, they shall never perish, not the lambs, not the weaklings. They have a life which is in itself immortal and eternal. The Holy Ghost works in us perseverance in holiness, for He puts His fear in our hearts so that we shall not depart from Him.

Nation may rise against nation, and earthquake follow famine, but none of these shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. What brings this peace? Truly, the Lord is there! Let this great calamity sound a trumpet-call to the Church: preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, prophesy of Christ’s return, for the end is not yet, but the time is short. Be ye laboring together with God, for the harvest is plenteous. And you who tremble under the rod, flee to the cleft of that Rock; by faith take Jesus, and you shall find rest. Faith is the victory. Faith in the everlasting covenant inspires with confidence, fires with enthusiasm, and secures the soul against that day when the earth shall reel like a drunkard. Persevere, for the Lord is our Helper, and we will not fear.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The earth quakes and hearts tremble, yet these are the very birth pangs our Lord foretold. Do not let fear master you, for the end is not yet. The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few. Lift up your eyes and see the fields white already to harvest. What is needed now are laborers sent by the Lord of the harvest, and this is a call to prayer, not panic. Pray earnestly that He thrust forth laborers who will bind up the broken, proclaim the gospel, and make ready a people prepared for the Lord. The sickle of the word must be put to the work, even as the Spirit came down at Pentecost like a keen-edged wind and tongues of fire. That same Spirit rests upon those who are sent, not in outward show alone, but with power to heal the sick, cast out demons, and speak boldly of Christ’s return.

Grieve for the dead and the suffering, but let your grief be for sinners. For the just, even if they perish, are gone to Christ face to face. The young, the aged, the vulnerable: commend them all to God in common supplication, as we are ever bidden to pray for the whole world. Do not grow cold in love, though wickedness multiplies. Tribulation and comfort are mingled together for our sake, that we may learn to trust not in earthly securities but in the God who raises the dead. You ask for medical teams, for protection, for strengthened faith. These are good petitions, but remember that the true comfort comes when we share in the sufferings of Christ. Paul gloried in perils and stripes for the gospel; let us too be willing to endure reproach, knowing that the one who perseveres to the end shall be saved.

Be not deceived by false prophets or by the reasoning that measures the earthquake’s depth against its horror. The wisdom of this world is foolishness. The mountains may fall and the buildings crumble, but the foundation of the just remains unshaken. Faith, not the ground beneath our feet, is our sure anchor. Abraham was justified while still uncircumcised, and the sign was added afterward. So too, it is not the absence of calamity that proves God’s favor, but a heart that clings to Christ in the tempest. Let this trial embolden you, as it did the apostles after Pentecost. They were accounted full of new wine, yet they spoke the wonderful works of God. Go and do likewise. The harvest is at hand, and the Lord of the harvest hears the cries of His people. Pray without ceasing, and labor while it is day.

The shaking you are seeing is real and the grief is real, but Jesus told us ahead of time that such things would come. Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, famines and earthquakes in various places. He called these the beginning of birth pains, not the final word. So we do not pretend the suffering is small, and we do not give way to panic. We pray.

I am asking God with you to protect the young, the women, the elderly, and all who are exposed. Ask him to make a way for medical teams to reach the hardest hit places, to strengthen rescue workers, to comfort the injured and the bereaved, and to move his people to give and to go. Jesus saw the crowds and had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he told his disciples to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send out laborers. That is exactly the prayer for now. Pray for laborers who bring both relief and the gospel, both bandages and the word of Christ. And pray that those who are shaken will not be weakened in faith but will be drawn nearer to Jesus.

The depth and location of the quake may explain some of the damage, but they cannot explain away the need of the human heart. You do not need a better analysis; you need a stronger trust in the God who remains sovereign over every fracture of the earth and every fallen building. Faith gives substance to what we hope for and evidence to what we do not yet see. That means we do not wait until we see the full rescue or the full harvest before we believe. We trust him now, in the dark, while the aftershocks are still being counted.

Remember what the gospel is. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from works. No one earns rescue from sin by being strong enough or good enough during a disaster. If we add anything to simple faith in Christ, we have a different gospel. So when you pray for people to be saved, point them to Jesus alone. His righteous life, his death for sinners, his resurrection, his coming again. That is the good news that must be preached in all the world before the end comes.

At the same time, true faith works. Faith that does not show itself in deeds is dead. So when we pray for boldness to preach, to heal the sick, to cast out demons, and to speak of Christ's return, we are asking for the fruit that comes from genuine faith. It is not the deeds that save anyone. It is the faith that produces the deeds. Pray that the believers in the middle of this will not just talk about faith but will live it, so that the watching world sees Jesus in them.

Finally, do not set your hope on having enough information to feel safe. Set your hope on the one who sees what is invisible. Abraham was counted righteous through faith, not through works. Many have died in faith without receiving every promise on this side of the grave. Their endurance came from seeing him who is invisible. Pray that the same endurance will be given to those who are hurting now, so that they hold fast to Christ, love one another, and persevere to the end. The one who perseveres to the end will be saved, not because endurance earns salvation, but because true salvation endures.

I am praying with you for the dead to be mourned with dignity, the injured to be healed, the vulnerable to be sheltered, and the gospel to run swiftly through every broken place. In Jesus' name.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of great distress and urgency. Your heart for the vulnerable, your call for laborers to be sent into the harvest, and your burden for the nations in the midst of these birth pangs have been heavy upon our spirits as well. We have lifted up the lives lost, the injured, and the displaced, asking the Lord to be a very present help in their time of trouble. We have prayed for protection over the young, the women, and the elderly, asking God to shield them from further harm and to provide for their every need.

We have interceded for the medical teams and first responders, asking the Lord to strengthen their hands, give them wisdom, and protect them as they serve in the midst of chaos. We have also prayed for the Church—that in these shaking moments, believers would not grow faint or fearful but would draw nearer to Jesus, stand firm in faith, and rise up with boldness to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and proclaim the hope of Christ’s return. Your reminder of Matthew 24 and the urgency of the Great Commission has stirred us to pray with even greater fervency, asking the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the fields, for they are indeed ripe for harvest.

We continue to stand in agreement with you, believing that even in the midst of destruction, God is at work. We pray that the hearts of many would turn to Him in repentance and faith, that the Gospel would advance with power, and that the Church would be a beacon of light and hope in these dark times. If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—if lives have been spared, if laborers have been raised up, if healing has come—we ask you to share a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the burden still weighs heavily upon your heart, we invite you to post again, and we will continue to lift these needs before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His mercy and sovereignty.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you press into Him. May He strengthen your faith, embolden your witness, and use you mightily for His kingdom in these last days. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
