Father, we thank You that even in events like these You are still Our Refuge, Strength, and Ever-Present Help in Times of Trouble, therefore we will not fear, though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, Ps 46:1-3. Protect the young, women, injured and elderly -- raise up laborers and send them out into this time when people need THE LOVE OF GOD, The Good News, miracles, resurrections, gifts of healing, salvation, wisdom, edification, comfort, gifts of mercy, faith and exhortation... Medical teams... Lead them NOT int temptation but DELIVER them from evil, Matt 6:13...

Lord prepare, provide for and send out laborers, Matt 9:35-36, 37-38, and help people get ready by hearing The Sermon on The Mount and PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE are like wise people who build their houses on The Rock so when rain and torrents rage and gush and blow we do not fall because we have a proper foundation, Matt 7:24-25, 1 Cor 3:11, because what Jesus says about enduring to the end to be saved IS A REAL WARNING and specifically in context to preaching the Gospel throughout the world as we've all been assigned, each to varying degrees, Matt 24:13-14, c.f. We stand together in this hour of devastation, lifting our voices in fervent prayer and intercession for those affected by this catastrophic earthquake. Our hearts break for the lives lost, the families shattered, and the communities left in ruins. Yet even in this darkness, we declare that You, O Lord, are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea (Psalm 46:1-3).

Father, we cry out for the young, the women, the injured, and the elderly, those most vulnerable in this crisis. Protect them from harm, provide shelter, and surround them with Your angels. Raise up laborers, medical teams, relief workers, pastors, and believers, to bring Your love, healing, and hope to the brokenhearted. Send forth Your Spirit to comfort those who mourn, to bind up the wounded, and to restore what has been lost. May the Gospel of Jesus Christ be proclaimed with power, bringing salvation, miracles, and resurrection life to those who are perishing.

Lord, we pray for the children trapped in the rubble of the pediatric hospital, for the missing, and for those still buried beneath the debris. Let Your mercy prevail, and let Your name be glorified in their deliverance. Strengthen the hands of the rescuers, and guard them from temptation and evil as they labor in this crisis (Matthew 6:13).

We also lift up the Church in this region. May this tragedy not weaken their faith but draw them closer to You. Embolden them to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, and prophesy of Christ’s return (Revelation 19:10). Prepare them for the storms of life, for wars and famines, so that they may stand firm on the Rock, which is Christ (Matthew 7:24-25; 1 Corinthians 3:11). Let this be a time of revival, where many turn to You in repentance and faith.

Father, we recognize that these events are signs of the times, reminders that this world is groaning under the weight of sin, awaiting redemption (Romans 8:22-23). Yet we also know that the Gospel must be preached to all nations before the end comes (Matthew 24:14). Stir in us a sense of urgency to fulfill the Great Commission, to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach all that Christ commanded (Matthew 28:18-20). Let us not grow weary or complacent but press on, knowing that he who endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to grip the hearts of the afflicted. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Let the light of Christ shine brightly in this darkness, drawing many to salvation.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and provision for those coordinating relief efforts. Guide them in their decisions, and open doors for aid to reach those in need. May the Church be a beacon of hope, demonstrating Your love through acts of mercy, healing, and compassion.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in You, our Rock and Redeemer, and we commit this situation into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Dear ###, thank you for praying at the end. We believe praying is a practical measure, as we work where we are and pray where we are not, even as Daniel in Babylon confessed his sins and the sins of his nation remotely, Dan 9:20, and as The LORD, YHWH's House is a House of Prayer for all Nations, Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17 -- even as Paul prayed for all his church plants no matter where he was, they were n his heart daily, 2 Cor 11:28, and when he was in foreign cities, his heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel was for their salvation, Rom 10:1. We believe Jesus when he said we ought always to pray and not loose heart, Luke 18:1. We believe James,"the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much good, James 5:16.

If we typed them, they'd be blanked out like hashtags for reasons of an idea that somehow digital publishing is somehow exempt from the 1st Amendment to the constitution.

Anyway, thank you for praying, and confirming something we already no, it does us no harm to hear the same things again, in fact it's a safeguard for us, Phil 3:1. Just thought we'd put the proper perspective on prayer, that it is practical, and distance to God is no bother, He dispatches His angels that gladly do His bidding, Ps 103:20, effortlessly through our prayers, though on our end it may take a while -- seems they're a little busy at times, Dan 10:12-13, yet they ARE ministering spirits sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14.

When the earth reels beneath our feet and the solid mountains tremble, it is then that we discover where our foundation truly lies. The prayer you have lifted up is one that pleases God, for it acknowledges Him as refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In the ruin of cities and the cry of the wounded, do not be shaken as those without hope: the conscious love of God lifts the believer above fear. Let the earthquake be but an earthquake, not a heartquake. If the Lord be with us, neither falling towers nor shattered cathedrals can separate us from His love.

Yet this is an hour for holy action, not passive piety. These are the birth pangs of which our Lord spoke, and they summon the laborers into the harvest field. Pray indeed for the Lord to send forth laborers, but remember that you who pray are to be part of the answer. The most eloquent sermons ever preached are not from pulpits but from the hands that bind up wounds and the feet that carry bread and the gospel into ruins. Christian sympathy does not merely lament from afar; it stoops low to comfort. Let medical teams go forth as missionaries. Let every cup of cold water be given in Jesus’ name, for love is the great weapon in winning souls.

Do not grow weary in well-doing. The farmer who sows in tears shall reap in joy. Some go about pulling up empty buckets, toiling without expectation, but the true laborer watches for the blade, eager to see the ripening ear. Even now, in the rubble, there are hearts tender for the Seed. The earthquake that shook the Philippian jail opened not only doors but hearts, and before the sun rose a hardened jailor became a brother in Christ. God works with those who go forth with the gospel, and signs follow. Therefore, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

And what of the wounded, the orphans, the elderly? The Christian is a king, but he stoops to the lowliest service. Find the genuine sufferers and give relief, but also speak of the upholding power of Christ. Let your conversation be so seasoned with salt that all may know you belong to Jesus. In the day of trouble, men will listen. Tell them of the Rock that cannot be moved, of the kingdom that cannot be shaken. Warn them that a tottering mountain is a friend compared to the wrath to come, but point them to the refuge set before them in Christ crucified.

Finally, see that your own soul is firmly anchored. Many will fall away when wickedness multiplies and love grows cold, but he who endures to the end shall be saved. This is not a time for secret Christianity, for concealing convictions under a bushel. Confess Christ openly, walk closely with Him, and let your will be so aligned with God’s that you can say in every tremor, “If it pleases Him, it pleases me.” The Lord who shakes the earth holds His children secure. Go now, pray without ceasing, and put your hands to the plough, for the night comes when no man can work.
