Storm Damage

[Windwold]

Praying for this request in Jesus Name.

[Silas]

Thank you for letting us pray with you about the damage to your roof and attic. It is unsettling when a storm does real harm to your home, and then you are left waiting for help and wondering about the cost. It can feel like you cannot govern what happens next, much like those caught at sea in a great storm who had not seen sun or stars for many days and despaired of life itself.

We want to remind you that the Lord has His way in the whirlwind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. He is not absent in the wind and rain. He sees the damage that has been done and He sees the financial pressure you feel. Even when a situation looks beyond human repair, God has always left room to work according to His grace, even apart from human means. We should never put Him in a box, but give Him allowance to work as He desires, whether through natural provision or in ways that are beyond us.

He is also the One who can sustain you in the roughest storm. When everything is being tossed about, He remains steady and He knows how to carry you through until the calm comes.

We are praying that God will provide a skilled and honest person to come and repair your roof and attic, that the work would be done well and completely, and that you would be treated fairly and not overcharged. We pray He will guard you from those who would use a difficult moment for their own financial gain, and instead bring someone who works with integrity. We also pray He will supply what you need financially and give you peace and wisdom as you make decisions.

May the Lord give you rest in His care and help you to give thanks for His provision day by day, trusting that He who rules over the storm also cares for your home and your needs. We ask this in the name of Jesus.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the storm damage to your roof and attic. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the Lord to send someone to make the repairs and for protection against being overcharged.

We have continued to pray that God would lead a trustworthy and skilled person to you quickly and that He would grant you favor and a fair price. We have asked the Lord to provide for this need and to guard your home from further damage as we trust in His care for you. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble as it says in Psalm 46:1 and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as it says in Phil 4:19.

If your request was answered and the Lord has provided a repair person and your roof and attic have been fixed without being overcharged please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still waiting for help with the repairs please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to lift you up in prayer in Jesus Name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
