We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical suffering, lifting up your plea for healing and restoration. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know that God cares deeply about our well-being, both spiritually and physically. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that the Lord hears your cry and will act according to His perfect will.
It is good that you are seeking medical treatment with antibiotics, for the Lord often uses the wisdom of doctors and medicine as part of His healing process. Yet we also know that ultimate healing comes from Him alone. Your fear of pneumonia or cancer is understandable, but we encourage you to cast those anxieties upon the Lord, for He tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also take this moment to remind you—and all who read this—that our prayers are only effective when offered in the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly invoked His name in your plea, and we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing He intercedes for us (Hebrews 4:16).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from this persistent cough, runny nose, and sore throat. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of their body with care and purpose. We ask that You touch them now with Your healing hand. Let these antibiotics work swiftly and effectively to restore their body to full health. Rebuke any infection, inflammation, or sickness that is causing this distress, and let it flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we speak against the fear of pneumonia, cancer, or any other serious illness. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it to them and provide the wisdom and strength to address it.
Lord, we also pray that during this time of weakness, they would draw nearer to You. Let this trial be a reminder of their dependence on You and an opportunity to experience Your comfort and presence in a deeper way. Strengthen their faith, and let them testify of Your goodness when healing comes.
We declare by faith that this cough, runny nose, and sore throat will leave their body completely, and that they will be restored to full health—body, soul, and spirit. May they glorify You in their healing and continue to walk in obedience and trust in You.

Stay steadfast, and may the Lord grant you swift and complete healing.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
