The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that the same God who formed your lungs and breathes life into you is able to restore you completely.
Your fear is understandable, but we gently remind you of 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The anxiety over your medications and breathing is real, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, declaring that God has not given you a spirit of bondage to fear. Instead, He offers peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Cast these cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray specifically that your psychiatric medications will not interact harmfully with your current treatment, asking the Great Physician to guide and protect your body as only He can. He who numbers your days (Psalm 139:16) holds your breath in His hands—trust Him to sustain you.
We also address the desperation in your words, *"pray I won’t die."* Death is an enemy that has been defeated by Christ (1 Corinthians 15:26, 54-57), and your life is hidden in Him (Colossians 3:3). Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, your times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15). We pray for complete restoration, but even more, we pray you would rest in the assurance that your life belongs to Him—whether in this body or the next.
Your request to attend your program reveals a heart that seeks normalcy and purpose, and we ask the Lord to grant you strength for each step. Yet we also encourage you to surrender this desire to Him, trusting that if He tarries in healing, His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even Paul, who prayed three times for a "thorn in the flesh" to be removed, was met with God’s perfect plan in the delay. May you find His presence in this trial, knowing that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our High Priest and Healer. We lift up Your child who is suffering with this relentless cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. Lord, You spoke the lungs into existence and breathed life into Adam—command this body to align with Your perfect design. Let every inflamed tissue be soothed, every airway opened wide, and every germ or virus be rendered powerless by Your mighty hand. We ask that the medications prescribed would work effectively and *safely*, with no adverse reactions to the psychiatric treatments. Guard every system in this body, O Lord, and let no harm come from what is meant for healing.
We rebuke the symptoms of coughing, sneezing, and congestion in Jesus’ name, declaring that these are not permanent but temporary afflictions under Your authority. Restore normal breathing, Lord—let the lungs expand fully, the throat be coated with Your healing balm, and the sinuses drain completely. Grant deep, restorative sleep tonight, free from interruption, so the body can repair and strengthen.
Father, we also speak to the fear that grips the heart—fear of death, fear of side effects, fear of permanent damage. We bind these fears in Jesus’ name and loose Your perfect peace. Remind this beloved one that You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and holds the stars in place. If You can do all that, how much more will You care for them? Let them feel Your presence as a tangible comfort, even in the night watches.
We pray for divine intervention so that tomorrow’s program can be attended if it is Your will, but more than that, we pray for a heart surrendered to Your timing. If delay is Your plan, grant patience and trust. If healing is immediate, we will praise You for it! Above all, may this trial draw them closer to You, refining their faith like gold.
Finally, Lord, we thank You that You have already conquered sin, sickness, and death through the cross. We stand on Your promises and refuse to let the enemy steal hope. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness, whether through rapid healing or sustained grace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—*Amen.*
