We join you in lifting up your dear mother before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body. We know how distressing it is to watch a loved one suffer with ongoing vomiting and loss of appetite, and we bring her needs to our compassionate Father who cares deeply for her.
We believe that God is our healer and that He hears our prayers for restoration. Scripture reminds us of His mercy and power to heal, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to His promise, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember the comfort that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.
We pray together now for your mother in the name of Jesus.
Father in heaven, we come before You together and ask in the name of Jesus Christ for Your healing hand upon this dear mother. We ask that You would cause the vomiting to cease completely and that You would restore her appetite and her strength. We pray that You would calm her stomach, heal whatever is causing this affliction, and allow her to receive nourishment and to regain health. We ask that You would give wisdom to any doctors and caregivers attending to her, and that You would grant peace to her and to her family as they trust in You. We pray that her body would be strengthened and that she would feel Your presence and comfort each day. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
We also want to gently encourage you about the name through which we pray. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share how important He is. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
We encourage you to continue to pray faithfully for your mother and to seek appropriate medical care for her as well, trusting that God often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep bringing her before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we trust that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Your tender care for your mother has been heard and we have brought your petition before the Lord with earnest prayer.
It is a great blessing when food and appetite meet together, and we feel with you the sorrow of watching one so dear unable to retain food and with no desire for it. That conjunction of appetite and nourishment is a gift of God, and we pray that He who gives both would in His mercy restore it to her.
We are reminded that all healing flows from our Lord Jesus Christ, that great Physician. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is abundance of healing power in Him, and His fruit is sweet and nourishing to those who receive Him. When He healed the sick, pardon and healing were often one, for He came not only to point out disease but to apply the remedy. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the physician, and we encourage you to continue to seek skilled medical help for your mother, while looking above all to the Lord who alone can give the cure and who often works through appointed means.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this dear mother. Lay Thy healing hand upon her, we beseech Thee. Cause the vomiting to cease and restore to her a natural and healthy appetite, that her strength may be renewed and her body refreshed. Thou art the Sun of Righteousness with healing in Thy wings, and we ask that this healing virtue may be made manifest in her. Grant wisdom to those who care for her, comfort to her heart, and peace to her family as they wait upon Thee. And above all, grant to her and to those who love her that deeper healing which comes through forgiveness of sins by faith in Jesus Christ alone, that soul and body may both be restored by Thy grace.
