We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting up this heavy burden. The abuse, injustice, and retaliation against God’s faithful servants, especially His elder servants, is an affront to His holiness and a grievous sin that must be addressed. The Lord sees every act of corruption, every lie spoken, and every unjust demand made against His people. We declare with you that this must stop now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Word of God is clear: "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm" (Psalm 105:15 WEB). Those who rise up against God’s servants in malice, deceit, or retaliation will answer to Him. We rebuke the spirit of corruption, lying, and unjust gain operating in these situations. We command it to cease and desist, for the Lord is a God of justice, and He will not be mocked. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). We stand on this promise and declare that restoration is coming, every stolen resource, every wrongfully taken possession, and every dishonored right must be returned.
We also lift up those who have been targeted, praying that the Lord would surround you with His hedge of protection. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the LORD (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The blood of Jesus is your covering, and the fire of the Holy Spirit is your defense. We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden scheme, confound every lying tongue, and bring swift justice to those who have acted wickedly.
However, we must also address the heart posture in this battle. While we stand against injustice, we must ensure our fight is not fueled by bitterness, unforgiveness, or a spirit of vengeance. The Lord calls us to trust Him as our ultimate Avenger. "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). We pray that you would release any anger or resentment into God’s hands, allowing Him to vindicate you in His perfect timing and way.
We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom and counsel in this matter. If there are legal or practical steps that need to be taken to address these injustices, do so with integrity and reliance on the Lord. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). The Lord can use even earthly systems to bring about His justice when His people walk in righteousness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Your servants who have been wronged, abused, and retaliated against. Lord, You see every injustice, every lie, and every corrupt act committed against them. We ask that You arise, O God, and defend Your people. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24 WEB). Expose the hidden works of darkness and bring them into the light. We declare that no weapon formed against Your servants will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned.
Father, we pray for restoration, restore what has been stolen, return what has been taken unjustly, and heal what has been broken. Let the corrupt be brought to repentance or removed from their positions of influence, for You cannot be mocked. We ask that You surround Your servants with Your mighty protection, that the blood of Jesus would cover them, and the fire of Your Spirit would guard them from every evil scheme.
Lord, we also pray for the hearts of those who have been wronged. Guard them from bitterness, unforgiveness, and a spirit of vengeance. Fill them with Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your trust in Your perfect justice. Help them to walk in integrity, even as they seek resolution, and give them the strength to endure until You bring vindication.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears the cries of Your people. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that justice will prevail. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
