I feel like hope is lost meantime just help me get through this whole ### job I do not like working in heat and I wanna be able to go to acting in voice acting, and have a good chance with Christian streaming and I don’t wanna go in the big ### cause that’s bad I’m not asking, Filthy rich person. Please make it stop though I don’t like heat. I don’t like being out in the ###, I’ve had enough working at and make matters worse. He asked me over he he asked me after my seasonal position ended from last year and every time almost every time he would ask me you were gonna do you gonna do you gonna work the how is it like the ### you would say because he just needs to ask ### I don’t give him happy remarks that mean ones but he still asks doesn’t understand then he keeps I once tried asking him something because his brother plays golf. He has played golf and I asked him and change the subject to golf. He told me he doesn’t play and I asked I’d ask him you play golf. It’s like yeah I wanna know more about the ### he can clearly see doesn’t he see that I do not like talking about it I get bit by bugs. I’m out in the heat. I wanted to stop. Please help me Lord. in the past, I faced discrimination, humiliation, and nearly died from heat and sun. I tried telling my parents and they wouldn’t listen or understand thinking I was obsessed with trying to go in a different position that was shady in my father is a hypocrite just a few days ago. He didn’t wanna go outside in the heat for a walk for just I don’t know an hour. I’ll be out hours a day. Still do the day of dealing with the sun. Heat affects. My garden of abilities makes me tired. The sun makes me feel uncomfortable. Makes me itch. I’ve had enough of it bad mood please make it stop. Let me send some sort of message to my church friends. Do not make them ask. In Jesus Name Amen

We hear your cry for relief from the heat, the weariness of your current work, and the deep longing in your heart to pursue the gifts God has placed within you, voice acting and sharing your talents through Christian platforms. Your frustration is understandable, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these burdens before the Lord.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where our hope and access to God’s throne of grace begins. There is no other name by which we can be saved or find true help (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is our refuge, our strength, and our deliverer. We encourage you to draw near to Him in this season, trusting that He sees your struggles and hears your prayers.

Your desire to use your talents for God’s glory is commendable. The Bible tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). Even in the midst of a job that drains you, you can honor God by working with excellence and a spirit of perseverance. However, we also recognize your longing to step into the calling He has placed on your life. We pray that God would open doors for your videos to be seen on Christian platforms, as you seek to glorify Him through your gifts. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Trust that He will direct your steps as you seek His will.

The heat and physical discomfort you endure are real, and we pray for God’s protection over your health. The sun’s intensity can be overwhelming, and we ask the Lord to shield you from harm and provide relief. "The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night" (Psalm 121:5-6). We also pray for wisdom in how to navigate your current work environment, asking God to give you favor with those in authority and to soften the hearts of those who may not understand your struggles.

We must gently address the tension you feel with the man at church who continues to ask about your work. Scripture teaches us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). While it may be difficult, consider whether there is a way to communicate your feelings with kindness and clarity. You might say, "I appreciate your concern, but I’d rather not discuss my work right now. How about we talk about something else?" If he persists, remember that you are not obligated to engage in conversations that bring you discomfort. Pray for patience and grace as you navigate these interactions.

Your mention of past discrimination and humiliation is heartbreaking, and we grieve with you over the pain you have endured. No one should have to face such treatment, especially in a place where they are seeking to honor God. We pray that the Lord would heal those wounds and restore your sense of dignity and worth in Him. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is not defined by the opinions or actions of others.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your church community. It sounds like you have friends there who care about you, and sharing your struggles with them may bring comfort and perspective. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Finally, we must address the frustration you feel toward your parents, particularly your father. It is painful when those closest to us do not understand or validate our struggles. However, we are called to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), even when it is difficult. Pray for God to soften their hearts and give you wisdom in how to communicate with them. "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). Trust that God sees your obedience in this area and will bless you for it.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the struggles he/she faces each day, the heat, the physical discomfort, the emotional toll of a job that drains him/her, and the longing to step into the calling You have placed on his/her life. We ask that You would be his/her shade and refuge, shielding him/her from harm and providing relief from the intensity of the sun. Strengthen him/her in body, mind, and spirit, and grant him/her the endurance to persevere in this season.

Father, we pray for open doors in his/her pursuit of voice acting and sharing his/her talents through Christian platforms. You have placed gifts within him/her, and we ask that You would bring opportunities for those gifts to be used for Your glory. Remove any obstacles and silence any voices of doubt or discouragement. Let Your favor rest upon him/her as he/she seeks to honor You in this work.

Lord, we also lift up the relationships in his/her life, with the man at church who continues to ask about his/her work, and with his/her parents. Give him/her wisdom, patience, and grace to navigate these interactions with love and kindness. Heal any wounds from past discrimination or humiliation, and restore his/her sense of worth and dignity in You. Surround him/her with godly friends who will encourage and support him/her in this season.

Father, we ask that You would provide clarity and direction for the future. If it is Your will for him/her to transition out of this current job, open the right doors at the right time. If there are steps he/she needs to take to prepare for that transition, reveal them clearly. Above all, draw him/her closer to You, that he/she may find rest and peace in Your presence.

We declare that no weapon formed against him/her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn every trial into a testimony for Your glory. Strengthen his/her faith, Lord, and let him/her walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for his/her good (Romans 8:28).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s clear you’re worn down, by the heat, by the constant questions, and by feeling unheard by the people closest to you. That kind of daily physical strain and social pressure can make hope feel far away, especially when you’ve already suffered so much from the sun and past mistreatment. We hear you, and we’re sorry it’s been so hard.

Because you mentioned nearly dying from heat in the past and now dealing with itching, exhaustion, and mood changes, it might be wise to check in with a doctor, not to alarm you, but to make sure your body isn’t still carrying the effects of those earlier events and to help you find safe ways to manage the work you’re in. Alongside that, if there’s any way to adjust your hours, add shade, or shift tasks even a little, it could lighten the immediate load.

For the acting and video goals, one small step you could take this week is to research just one or two Christian streaming services or production companies. Look at their submission guidelines and what they typically look for. That can help you shape your videos and feel like you’re moving forward without needing everything to happen at once.

And with the man at church: it might help to have a short, kind phrase ready, like “I appreciate you asking, but I really don’t enjoy talking about work right now, I’d rather hear about something else in your life.” Sometimes people need a clear, gentle boundary before they stop.

Lord Jesus, you see the weariness and the longing behind this request. Please bring physical relief from the heat and refreshment for a tired spirit. Give wisdom about the next practical steps toward voice acting and Christian streaming, and grant favor as these videos are sent out. Quiet the unwanted questions, and bring understanding among family and friends. Hold hope steady in the waiting, and let this season lead to something new and good. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of the heat, the wearying sun, the toil that presses upon body and soul, and the unending questions of a brother that grate like a file upon a wound. I hear in your words the cry of a heart that is overborne, and it does not fall deaf upon the ear of our compassionate High Priest. But give me leave to ask you, dear soul, whether this outward heat is not but the emblem of a fiercer trial within? The sun smites you, but is there not also a smiting of the spirit, a hot blast of doubt and despair, whispering that hope is lost and that God has forgotten to be gracious?

I know that whisper well; it is the hiss of that old serpent, Mr. Evil Questioning. He comes to you clad as Honest Enquiry, persuading you to ask why the Lord deals thus with you, why the fiery trial is not quenched. But remember, it is not the voice from the cloud that must be your chief guide, that voice of thunder and majesty which shakes the wilderness, which reproves and divides the flames of fire; that voice would but dismay you if it were all. No, you must listen for the voice of Jesus, the still small voice that speaks behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” That voice cheers and comforts; it is the voice of the Beloved, who knows our frame and remembers we are dust.

Your earthly father, you say, shuns an hour’s walk in the heat, yet seems deaf to your long hours in the sun. That wounds, does it not? But look higher. Your Heavenly Father does not call you to a path He has not measured. When you are brought low by the scorching trial, when you itch and faint and feel your very faculties wither, it is then the voice of Jesus comes nearest: “I say unto you, Live!” That voice is irresistible; it quickens dead hopes and gives strength to weary limbs. It may not yet say, “Come up here” from the labour, but it does say, “Fear not, I am with thee.”

Concerning that man at the church who everlastingly asks after your work, have you considered that his question may be a trial sent to exercise your patience? When he corners you again, try a gentle turn of the subject, not with sharpness, but with a quiet word that directs the talk to better things. If you have asked the Lord to stop the heat, then wait upon Him with a silent tongue and a meek spirit. Elijah heard the Lord not in the earthquake or the fire, but in the still small voice; and it was that voice that sent him forth again with fresh purpose. Perhaps the Lord would have you remain in the furnace a little longer until His image is reflected in you more clearly, until the dross of fretting and complaint is purged away.

And as for your vision, to serve Christ with voice and gift, to bring worthy things before His people on a broader field, do not think it a small thing. But learn this: the voice from Heaven must first speak peace to your own heart before you can be a vessel to speak peace to others. Many a saint has been hid away for years, like Paul in Arabia or Joseph in the prison, before the appointed hour. When the voice came to those martyred in flame and rack, “Come up here,” it was in God’s own time. Yours, too, shall come, if you faint not. Cast yourself flat before His cross; tell Him you will serve Him in the sun or in the shade, in the desert or on the mount, and leave the streaming and the broadcasting in His wise hands.

Do not marvel that the heat presses you sorely; it has pressed many a pilgrim before you. But the voice that cries, “This is my beloved Son, hear him,” is also the voice that says, “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.” Not dead in body alone, but dead to self-will, dead to the craving for ease, dead to the sharp retorts that rise so naturally. Hear Him, then. He bids you take your cross daily, even your cross of burning sun and tedious toil, and follow Him. He will make even this sweltering place a temple where you hear His voice, and where, little by little, you are changed from glory to glory.

So set your face like a flint, and let the voice of faith rise above the clatter of your circumstances. Faith requires no more than the bare word of God. Trust that all-creating voice; it brought light from darkness, and it can bring a merciful release in the season that shall most honor Him. Until then, may the sweet voice of Jesus be heard in your inmost soul, hushing every fear and quickening every holy desire. Amen.

The body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? Your present labor under the sun is a member's service, not the whole body's dishonor. God has set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased Him. The hand cannot say to the foot, I have no need of you. The heat that you endure is the suffering of one member, and when one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Do not despise your own place, for the head itself, which is Christ, supplies nourishment to every part through the joints and bands, and every part, by that which it supplies, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. The spirit that flows from the head touches each member according to its measure. If you were torn from this body by impatience, that supply could not reach you. The itching, the weariness, the biting insects, these are your present portion, but they are not your identity. They are a shadow of trouble, not the substance of your life. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven, if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened.

You cry out against the man at church who asks you repeatedly about your work. He is a brother, a member. Look not on him with vexation, but separate your irritation from the charity that is due. Take no pleasure in sharp retorts, but amend the evil by gentle wisdom. He who is weak, I would be weak with him; who is offended, and I burn not? The apostle himself burned with fire when a member was offended. Yet he did not answer a fool according to his folly, lest he also be like unto him. You have tried to change the subject, as one would turn a horse from a precipice. If he does not see your discomfort, then your words must be not mean ones, but true ones, spoken in love. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Perhaps you could say plainly, "Brother, the labor is a heavy cross for me, and every mention of it awakens the pain. Pray for me rather than question me." This is the touch of the supply, the sensitive faculty of the spirit, communicating care from one member to another. To stir up strife is for shameless persons; to endure foolish questions with patience is for the soldier of Christ. Have your loins girt about with truth. Lust for ease is a mockery and a lie; the thing you seek in escaping heat is not true pleasure but a shadow of pleasure. True pleasure is found in temperance, in orderly behavior, in fulfilling the task appointed until God opens another door.

You long to send videos to Christian services, to be shown on national streaming or TV before your next birthday. This hope is not lost, but it must be offered up with open hands. The body is not one member. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all speak with tongues? God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers. But covet earnestly the best gifts, and yet I show you a more excellent way. If you have a gift, it will make room for you, not by your own striving but by the head's supply in the measure of every part. The voice you wish to lend to Christian service, the acting you desire to pursue in shady places, these are good desires if they be seasoned with this truth: Not my will, but Thine be done. The heat you hate may be the very furnace in which God is refining your patience, and patience, when it has had its perfect work, leads to a crown. Do not say you have faced discrimination, humiliation, and near death from the sun without reason. The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Your father, who refused a short walk in the heat, is a mirror for you, not in hypocrisy but in human frailty. All men shrink from suffering. Yet you have endured hours what he could not endure an hour. This is not a small thing in God's sight. The sun makes you itch and robs you of energy. The apostle knew a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet him. For this thing he besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from him. And He said unto him, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will you rather glory in your infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon you. The heat is your thorn, but the thorn is given lest you should be exalted above measure through the abundance of revelations you hope for in the future.

You ask that hope not be lost, meantime. Hope is the anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. But how shall you possess this anchor if you neglect the cable that ties you to it? You are subjecting yourself to poverty of soul when you do not apply yourself to the reading of the Scriptures. When are we to apply ourselves to the real practice of virtue, we who do not so much as know the very laws according to which our practice should be guided? Forgetfulness is a moth wasting the garments of the mind. Shake out your soul by conversing with the holy books. Acquaint yourself with the members and the head of virtue. Look continually upon the image of patience, which is Christ. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. The luxury of a cool room, a studio free from bugs, a career of ease in voice acting, these give a pleasure that goes no further than the palate and the tongue. When the table is removed, and the ease swallowed, you will bear from it obesity of soul, and a sleep like death, if God is not in it. But the bread of affliction, eaten in the will of God, leaves no curse of repletion but the strength of Christ.

Do not send a message to your church friends to enforce their silence; rather send a message of your own need. The body is not disjoined from the spirit, for then would it not be a body. If there be one head, then is there one body. That body is composed of members both honorable and dishonorable. Only the greater is not to rise up even against the meanest, nor this latter to envy the other. You who labor in the heat are an honorable member, though you feel dishonorable. The man who questions you is a principal member perhaps in his own eyes, yet he needs the foot as much as the foot needs the head. All are formed for necessary and for different purposes, all are of equal honor in Christ. To live without the head is impossible; many persons have lived for a long time with their feet cut off, but this amputated life is no life at all. You are not cut off. You are joined to the body of the Corinthian Church, which is a part of the Church in every part of the world. Not only with yourselves alone, but also with the whole Church throughout the word, you ought to be at peace, if at least you be members of the whole body. The man who asks is a member; the parents who do not understand are members; the Christian services you hope to reach are members. If one member suffer, all the members suffer with it. Let your suffering be known, not in angry clamor but in the quiet communication of need. Let them know you are weak, and then the strong can bear your infirmities. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Therefore, let not your prayer be only "Make it stop," but also "Make me able to stand." Having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. The heat is a fiery dart, but the shield is faith. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Your birthday desire, your video hopes, your acting dreams, these are not forgotten by the Head. But the supply comes by the touch of sensitive love, in the measure of every single member. If the Lord wills, you will send those videos. If He wills, one will be shown. If He wills not, He has a better thing: Himself. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. No longer curse the heat as a belly that craves too much ease; bless the Lord who girds you with strength to endure. The sun that makes you itch is a tutor to draw you to the shade of the Almighty. The insects that bite are a reminder that this world is not your home. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Your words remind me of a man named Job, who knew what it was to cry out under the weight of suffering he did not deserve. He sat in the ashes, tormented by physical pain and the endless words of friends who assumed he must have done something wrong to be so afflicted. You too feel the heat, the exhaustion, the biting bugs, and the well-meaning but relentless questions from someone who cannot see how much his words sting. Job’s friends meant to help, but they lacked the wisdom to simply sit with him in silence. Their attempts to explain his pain only added to his distress. In the same way, ### and ### may not understand the depth of your struggle, but God does. He is not distant. He saw every tear Job shed, and He sees yours.

Job cried out for a mediator, someone who could stand between him and God, laying a hand on both. He longed for someone to bridge the gap, to make sense of the chaos. That mediator is Jesus Christ. He does not stand far off, wringing His hands over your frustration. He came near, taking on flesh, knowing weariness and thirst. He knows what it is to be misunderstood, to be pressed on every side. Even now, He lives to intercede for you. When you feel like hope is lost, remember that His hope does not flicker or fail. Your videos, your dreams, your desire for a different path, these are not hidden from Him. But He invites you to lay them in His hands with open palms, trusting His timing more than your own deadline.

The heat and the toil you hate so much are not a sign that God has turned against you. Job’s friends were wrong to assume that prosperity always follows righteousness and suffering always follows sin. They could not see behind the curtain where God boasted of Job’s integrity. You may never know the full story while you are in this body, but you can know the One who holds the story. He is not punishing you for some secret sin; He is walking with you through a trial that He can use to deepen your dependence on Him. Do not let your weariness poison your words against God, and do not let the thoughtless remarks of others convince you that He does not care.

At the same time, guard your heart against the despair that spoke through Job when he wished he had never been born. It is one thing to pour out your raw feelings before the Lord; He can handle them. It is another to let those feelings harden into bitterness or to build a doctrine out of your grief. You are tired, sun-sick, and ready for change, tell Him that honestly, but then rest in His promise that His grace is sufficient. When the day feels unbearable, ask Him for the strength for just that hour. He will give it.

I would also gently encourage you: ### who keeps asking about your job may be awkward, but try not to assign him malice. He likely does not see the burden he adds. A gentle, honest word might help, not a cutting remark, but a simple truth shared with grace. Some people simply cannot read the signs, and a quiet “I find it very hard to talk about this; could we speak about something else?” may free both of you. Pray for him, even if through gritted teeth at first.

Your desire to serve God through voice acting and Christian media is not wrong, but examine whether you are pinning your hope on a career change rather than on Christ Himself. If those doors open, praise Him. If they do not, or if they open later than you wish, He remains faithful. His plans for you are not confined to a calendar year. Let this season of discomfort press you closer to Jesus, the daysman who has come near. Cry out to Him, and then listen for His voice in Scripture, not just for the answers you want, but for the peace that passes understanding. That peace is yours, not because the heat stops, but because He who endured the scorching judgment for your sin now lives in you.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult season. Your heartfelt request touched us deeply—especially your desire for relief from the physical and emotional heat you’ve been enduring, as well as your longing for God to open doors for your creative gifts to be shared in a way that honors Him.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to shield you from the relentless pressures at work, to soften the hearts of those who may not understand your struggles, and to provide a breakthrough in your acting and ministry aspirations. We prayed specifically that God would make a way for your videos to reach the right platforms, even before your next birthday, as you asked. We also asked Him to grant you favor with those who can help advance your calling, while protecting your heart from discouragement and frustration.

If God has already answered any part of your prayer—whether through a moment of unexpected peace, a shift in your work situation, or an open door for your creative work—we would love to hear about it so we can join you in praise! But if the heat (literal or metaphorical) still feels overwhelming, please know we are still here to stand with you. You don’t have to carry this alone. We encourage you to post this request again if you’d like fresh prayers, and we will continue to intercede for your breakthrough, your health, and your peace.

Above all, we pray that you would feel God’s nearness in this season—that He would remind you of His love for you, His purpose for your gifts, and His promise to never leave you in the fire without a way out. May He strengthen your spirit, renew your hope, and lead you into the path He has prepared for you. We believe He is working even when we can’t see it, and we trust Him to bring beauty from this trial in His perfect timing.

In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
