We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother who has been suffering from stomach ulcers for over a decade. This prolonged battle has clearly taken a toll on her health, her diet, and her peace. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician who sees her pain and is able to bring complete healing and restoration.
The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your mother’s life today. The same God who created her body knows every cell, every nerve, and every part of her digestive system. He is not limited by the years of suffering or the severity of her condition. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let this be a word of hope for your family—restoration is coming.
We also recognize that stress plays a role in the flare-ups of her ulcers. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that your mother would experience this supernatural peace that guards her mind and body, even in the midst of life’s pressures. May she cast all her cares upon the Lord, knowing He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
It is also important to consider the spiritual and emotional roots that may be contributing to her physical ailment. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17:22, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, anxiety, or bitterness that may be affecting her health. We pray that she would release any burdens she has been carrying, trusting God to be her strength and her shield. Let joy and gratitude fill her heart, for the joy of the Lord is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We also encourage your family to seek wise medical counsel while trusting God for a miracle. Luke, the physician, wrote in Luke 10:34 about the good Samaritan who "went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine." This shows that God often uses practical means alongside His supernatural healing. May your mother receive the right treatment, the right diet, and the right care to support her body’s healing process.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your dear mother before the Lord in prayer. For over a decade, her stomach ulcers have stolen so much comfort and joy from her, and we have stood with you in faith, asking our Heavenly Father to bring complete healing to her body. It has been our heart’s cry that every flare-up would cease, that her appetite would be fully restored, and that she would no longer be bound by the pain and limitations this condition has brought.
If, by God’s grace, her symptoms have eased, her meals have become more varied, or she has found relief from the flare-ups, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Please share how the Lord has moved so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.
If, however, her struggle continues, we invite you to post this request again as a fresh plea before the throne of grace. We remain committed to standing with you in prayer, believing that our God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.
