Stomach Ulcers

I am requesting you pray for my mum she has been having stomach ulcers for more than 10 years now and it's very bad that she eats only selected meals. Now a little stress it flares up. I believe with your prayers God will heal her.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother who has been suffering from stomach ulcers for over a decade. This prolonged battle has clearly taken a toll on her health, her diet, and her peace. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician who sees her pain and is able to bring complete healing and restoration.

The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your mother’s life today. The same God who created her body knows every cell, every nerve, and every part of her digestive system. He is not limited by the years of suffering or the severity of her condition. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let this be a word of hope for your family—restoration is coming.

We also recognize that stress plays a role in the flare-ups of her ulcers. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that your mother would experience this supernatural peace that guards her mind and body, even in the midst of life’s pressures. May she cast all her cares upon the Lord, knowing He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

It is also important to consider the spiritual and emotional roots that may be contributing to her physical ailment. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17:22, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, anxiety, or bitterness that may be affecting her health. We pray that she would release any burdens she has been carrying, trusting God to be her strength and her shield. Let joy and gratitude fill her heart, for the joy of the Lord is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

We also encourage your family to seek wise medical counsel while trusting God for a miracle. Luke, the physician, wrote in Luke 10:34 about the good Samaritan who "went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine." This shows that God often uses practical means alongside His supernatural healing. May your mother receive the right treatment, the right diet, and the right care to support her body’s healing process.

Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You today on behalf of this precious mother. We ask You to touch her stomach, to heal the ulcers, and to restore her digestive system completely. Let every cell in her body align with Your perfect design. We break the power of stress, anxiety, and any spiritual strongholds that have contributed to this condition. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith to believe that You are working even now, and that her healing is on the way. We declare that she will eat freely again, without pain or restriction, and that her strength will be renewed like the eagle’s. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust You to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to Your power that works in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, knowing that He hears your prayers and is moving on your mother’s behalf. Encourage her to speak healing over her body, for Proverbs 18:21 tells us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue." Let her confess Your Word, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing—God is faithful!

We're here with you, praying for your mum's healing. We've been thinking about her and the journey she's been on with these stomach ulcers. It's been a long road, but we believe in the power of our loving God to bring healing and relief.

We're claiming Psalm 139:14 over her today, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." God knows every detail of her body, and He's more than capable of bringing wholeness and healing.

We're also praying for peace to guard her heart and mind, especially during stressful times. We're asking God to fill her with His supernatural peace, just as He promised in Philippians 4:7.

Let's encourage her to keep trusting God, to keep taking care of herself, and to keep believing for a miracle. We're standing with her in faith, believing that God is going to turn this situation around. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
