Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We join you in prayer over this theft and ask the Lord to be near to you in this distress.
We pray that the Father, who sees all things, would guide the police in their work and, if it is His will, bring the van back safely and quickly. We ask Him to restrain further harm and to bring justice according to His righteous judgment, and we pray also for the one who took it, that God would bring that person to conviction and repentance and to new life in Christ.
In times like this it helps to remember where our true treasure lies. When something is stolen from us, the loss is real and it is right to seek help and to pray for its return, but the thief cannot steal the treasure we have in heaven if we keep our hearts fixed on Christ. Do not let anger or love of possessions cloud your sight, but keep your eyes clear by trusting God. If we bear losses with thankfulness, God is able to restore what was taken, and even if He does not restore it in this life, He will give a greater reward to those who trust Him and despise not His goodness.
So we pray that you will have peace while you wait, that you will not treasure up wrath but will leave justice in God’s hands, and that you will keep hope while it is still called today, knowing that God who made all things is able both to bring what is hidden to light and to guard your heart from deeper harm.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to help the authorities do their work with wisdom, to protect this person from fear and bitterness, and to work all things for good for those who love You. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in how this matter is resolved. Amen.
