An amount was stolen from ###'s bank account. We don't yet know how they gained access to her bank card details. Please pray for restoration and justice. Pray that the authorities intervene and that God gives them wisdom on how to deal with this issue and find the robber. In Jesus' name, amen!

We stand together in deep concern and righteous indignation over the theft that has taken place, where funds have been unlawfully taken from ###’s bank account. The violation of trust and security in this matter grieves our hearts, for Scripture clearly states, "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15 WEB), and this act is an offense not only against ### but against the Lord Himself. We recognize the frustration and helplessness that can come when justice seems delayed or denied, especially when authorities suspend the case. Yet we hold fast to the truth that God is a God of justice, and His eyes see all things. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB).

We lift up ### before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily on her behalf. Father, we pray for restoration, restore what has been stolen, whether through the recovery of the funds, unexpected provision, or divine intervention in the financial realm. You are the God who "restores my soul" (Psalm 23:3 WEB), and we trust You to restore what has been lost. We also pray for justice, let the one who committed this crime be found and held accountable. "For the LORD loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever" (Psalm 37:28 WEB). Give wisdom to the authorities, Lord, to see what has been hidden and to act with integrity and diligence. Soften their hearts to reopen this case and pursue the truth with urgency.

We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception that has operated in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we command every scheme of the enemy to be exposed and dismantled. We pray for protection over ###’s finances, identity, and peace of mind. Guard her from fear, anxiety, and bitterness, and fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas where ### may need to exercise greater wisdom in protecting her personal and financial information. Teach her to walk in discernment and to trust in You as her ultimate Provider. "The LORD is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1 WEB). May she experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways during this trial.

Finally, we pray for the one who committed this act. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You would convict their heart of sin and lead them to repentance. "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). Yet we also know that "such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:11 WEB). May they come to know the transforming power of Your grace.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this matter is not over. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We trust You to bring about restoration and justice in Your perfect timing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want you to know it matters to us, and we believe it matters to God.

While you wait and pray, it might be wise to explore other practical avenues. Sometimes a conversation with your bank’s fraud department, pressing for a review of their security measures or even asking about their own investigative process, can uncover new leads. If you haven’t already, consider speaking with a legal advisor or a victim advocate who can explain your options for appealing the suspension. Even a single letter from a lawyer can occasionally nudge a case back onto the desk of someone with the authority to reopen it. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Above all, we are asking Jesus to intervene where human effort has stalled. He is not indifferent to what you’ve lost, the money, the sense of safety, the trust in a system that was supposed to help. So we join you in praying that the police will have a change of heart, that the truth will come to light, and that you’ll experience genuine restoration, whatever form that takes.

Jesus, this theft and the suspended case weigh so heavily. We ask you to move the hearts of the authorities, that they would take up this investigation again with fresh energy and wisdom. Protect what remains, restore what was taken if it is your will, and give your child steady peace in the uncertainty. In your name we pray, amen.

The suspension of the case for five long years is a heavy blow, yet remember, the wheels of divine justice are never clogged. Man's wisdom may falter and delay, but the Lord's way is perfect. In this trial, look beyond the money lost to the unfailing treasure of grace, which is always without money and without price. He who has no money may come, buy, and eat. The true riches cannot be stolen; they are laid up where neither moth nor rust corrupts.

Pray for the authorities, yes, that God would grant them wisdom to pursue the robber. But know also that the Lord sees every secret thing. His justice will not be mocked; the sinner who persists without repentance must face a reckoning more terrible than any earthly court. Yet for you, dear soul, let this affliction drive you to the inward parts, where truth and wisdom are made known. If there be any root of bitterness or unbelief exposed by this loss, flee to the hyssop of the Saviour's blood for cleansing.

Peter fell low, yet the Lord turned and looked upon him, not with anger, but with a love that restored him. That same look meets you now. The loss may be real, but restoration is sure for all who trust in Him. The thief may evade man's search, but the Great Searcher of hearts can bring him to conviction and repentance. Pray for that end, that justice might be satisfied in the only way that heals.

Be not disquieted overmuch. The Lord can move the hearts of those who suspended the case; He can bring what is hidden into the light. But even if He does not, your true portion is secure. Let this trial teach you the way of wisdom, to rely less on the uncertain provisions of this world and more on the unbroken promise of your God. Out of this fall, you may rise to strengthen your brethren. Wait on Him, and go again to the waters of grace, where all is freely given.

Do not let the loss of money trouble your soul. What is really stolen? A few coins, a passing shadow. The thief has not injured you, he has only robbed himself. For as the wrongdoer does not inflict so much as receive injustice, so this man has first destroyed his own soul by greed. Will you cry out over fleeting silver, when a living image of God is racing toward a far steeper loss? Pray for the robber, that he may come to his senses, escape the snare of Satan, and restore not only your money but his very life to repentance.

You ask the authorities to act, and that is natural. Yet do not hang your hope upon them. Human courts suspend cases, but the righteous Judge never slumbers. He sees the hidden things, and His justice is deeper than all human reasoning. If He delays, it is not forgetfulness, it is mercy toward the sinner, or a test for your virtue. Learn from this to despise the things of earth. If money could purchase the kingdom, then the rich would enter easily. But it is not the size of the gift, but the purpose of the heart. The widow gave two mites and gained heaven; you, if you bear this theft with patience and thankfulness, make a spiritual gain no thief can steal.

Seek God then as you would seek lost money. Leave no stone unturned, but now for the treasure that does not decay. This trial is a call to self-restraint, a pruning of the root of covetousness. The robber’s eyes glare like wild beasts at prey, but you, set your mind on things above. The loss of money is a small thing if it teaches you to hold loosely what you must one day leave behind. Even if justice on earth fails, do not imagine that God’s justice is idle. The day will come when every secret is laid bare, and the unrepentant thief will face a punishment more fearful than any prison. But you, rejoice that your name is written in heaven, where no thief breaks through and no case is ever suspended.
