still praying for my dads recovery

I know it has been a while...my dad had that horrible car crash exactly one month ago today, and is still in the hospital. He how however has been moved from ICU to a rehabilitation hospital, where they are really working him physically and mentally. I guess after being ejected at an impact speed on 85 mph head on, he would have some head trauma. We are blessed he is alive. My dad is 73. He did have on a seatbelt - even the drs reports show his injuries are classic for him being belted into the towtruck. The police report was scary to read. The driver just looked over and noticed my poor dad was gone!

Well, we still need your prayers. He has a frontal lobe injury and the bleed on his brain. Its been a month and he cannot even have ice chips to suck on - he needs to learn to swallow again. to eat again. to talk and walk again. He has the MRSA virus so he is very contagious as well.

Anyway, I keeep you all in my thoughts and prayers, and I know you will pray for my dad Bill Sanders.

May You heal him above what any doctor can do. We pray that You would comfort him today and shower Your love on him. We pray that You would take care of that virus too, and heal him. Lord Jesus, how my heart goes out to this family today for all that is ahead of them. Lord, you know that I was at this point 1 1/2 years ago when Bob had his stroke. I pray your hand upon this family and especially upon this husband/father. I pray you would touch the nerves in his head, that you would reroute them and reconnect them so that he can have normal function again. Cover him with your mercy and grace and help him in his recovery. You have spared his life for a reason and saved him from death that your will be done and the plans you have for him will be accomplished and completed before you call him home. I pray your blessings over him, your protection from the enemy and I pray that even though his body isn't responding yet, that others will see Jesus in his eyes! To you be glory, honor and praise! Give this family extra strength to face all the hurdles, all the ups and downs of their emotions, all the happy and all the sad times yet to come. Help them endure the healing process and may he find victory through your mighty hand. I ask that you sustain the family with their everyday needs. Bless them. Watch over them. Lead and guide them. Instill in them hope for the healing to come, peace in knowing you are in control and love that passes beyond our feeble understanding. You love us so much that it is hard to comprehend the width and the depth and the height of it but we thank you for it. Amen and amen.

Father, I ask that You would touch Bill's brain right now. Please restore everything so that it is even better than it was before the car crash. Lord, please help this man and touch him. Please.
