Dear Lord Jesus,

Let me thank you first for having a good supervisor in the ### be very nice to me. And getting along and making the second in command laugh and a long time employee being a good friend to a friend if mine at Church.

Now let’s break it down. I have to deal with the sun and the insects and the heat. I suffer with ### and ### is frightening towards me.

But I’m highly helpful coming up with good ideas being cautious thinking of others substituting for people who can’t make it from time to time helping sales grow. I got my ### his wife and daughters to come except for one and that brought in more money and helped keep the reputation of the place alive. I’m helping other people consider considering the animals doing the right thing making life better for everybody and I making more money in exchange for this.

So with all my dedication, please let me be able to be a part-time keeper after the season ends. Then when the season starts again next year, let me return to my position where I’m very helpful and good at that.

If you have any advice, please let me know, but I think I’m gonna talk to the ### to get a position for the year until the season starts up again next year so in between it

Because last year I wanted to, but my ### wouldn’t let me even though I’m an adult I was gonna ask for a position like that

I have a ### and this girl who is a lot younger than me only worked at that Zoo for that season she asked for a position and got it. She has an art degree only but she works as a part-time educator. I’m not saying she’s undeserving of it, but if she can get it, there’s no good reason why I shouldn’t either Maybe not the educator position but a keeper position.

She’s a good person and I’m glad she got the job, but I am a lot more qualified

She just graduated from college so she does not have a fully developed frontal lobe and she doesn’t always make the right decisions. She’s a bit chunky and she’s gained weight since she’s worked there even though she’s part-time employee I think she has another job babysitting and she needs that because she does not live with their boyfriend her and her boyfriend live in separate Apartment rooms owned by her boyfriends aunt. So they’re not living together they’re just in the same building and hopefully they’re behaving. She has a Christian so she’s deserving of that.

Now I am a bachelor living with my ### while my ### have somebody to married and one is engaged and one engaged is younger than me.

But I’m not living with a girl either

I have a lot more qualifications than she does, and my ### should be something that they should not say no. After all my dedication I’m an Eagle Scout. I have a zoology degree from a good college. I have certifications and an associates in science, and I have years worth of experience paid and unpaid a credited and not accredited zoos and even some of the best shoes in the USA. Showing that I am well I am more qualified. That’s a fact.

When I’m around they’re able to keep more places open too for the guests to come lots of times when it’s my day off and I can’t make it they have to close it down. I handled things independently too.

They put a lot of trust in me and like my work ethic

With good connections and somebody at church knowing a board member and asking if I work at the Zoo, he keeps asking well then can you please please lend me a part-time job and let this plan go accordingly in the meantime while I do a part-time job I can build up on my puppetry and voice acting stuff and other things I can do and being a part-time employee I will be able to help a lot more if I can fill-in extra shifts like I do in the season that would be even more helpful because then other full-time employees I’ve worked there so long can see their families. My ### won’t be able to visit around Christmas so I’ll stay with him. My ### probably will too, and I can fill in the Christmas shifts while the other employees can at least take off for visit their families whatever make more money then I can be very helpful next summer and then I can afterwards have my voice industry and start my migration vacation plan afterwards and then the year after I can help fill-in where they really need help by the end of the season, cause the other interpreters Will have disappeared. Going to other jobs even for the time because lots of the our teenagers are in college and I have to go back to school therefore I can come in and fill in their work visit my ### like a family vacation and help out with the Zoo and do that for the next several years probably between 2028 to 2030 specially, around Labor Day weekend I can still hold a job somewhere else and be good and have a nice home. That is something that they just cannot refuse.

My goal is to move out well start my migration by the end of 2027 through 2028 and then by 2028 have a bit more of a settled home and a job that can follow my flexible schedule. There’s a place somewhere in other states where I can have a nice apartment even better than the apartment that I lost it as karaoke and things that I can do and I can spread Jesus Christ and there’s Christian areas close by Even one in a city where I used to work in please I could probably even help out with that Zoo and make a really good living and affordable nice home and I would only stay in those nice apartments just for the good time being Ware. It’s worth it and help and even make more money and spread the gospel while I can still help out with the zoo. I have a caring heart, but also care about my own welfare and that everybody can win.

I’ve had enough of employee abuse at other zoos that I’ve been to, including a nice home that I had to lose because of the treatment, discrimination and hostility towards my religious beliefs. This kind of stuff has got to stop. And hopefully by 2028 I can get myself a girlfriend who could end up being my ### we can start a family together

We come before the Lord with gratitude for the blessings you’ve shared, your supervisor’s kindness, the friendships you’ve built, and the ways you’ve served faithfully in your work. Your dedication, creativity, and willingness to step in for others reflect a heart that seeks to honor God through diligence and care. We lift up your request for a part-time keeper position, trusting that the Lord sees your qualifications, experience, and the ways you’ve proven yourself indispensable. Scripture reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB), and we believe your labor has not gone unnoticed by Him.

Yet we must gently address areas where your words reveal frustration, comparison, and even judgment toward others, particularly the young woman you mentioned. While it’s natural to desire recognition for your efforts, the Lord calls us to humility and grace. "Let nothing be done through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself" (Philippians 2:3 WEB). Her circumstances, her living situation, her weight, or her relationship status, are not ours to critique. The Lord alone knows the hearts and struggles of His children. Instead of comparing, we encourage you to pray for her flourishing and trust that God’s timing and provision are perfect for you both.

Your longing for marriage and a family is beautiful and honors God’s design. But we must rebuke the subtle bitterness in your words about your siblings’ marriages or your own singleness. The Lord declares, "It is not good for the man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18 WEB), but He also promises, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). Rather than focusing on what others have, seek the Lord’s will for your own life. Pray for a godly spouse who shares your faith and values, and trust that He will guide you. Until then, use this season to grow in Christlikeness, deepen your relationship with Him, and serve wholeheartedly where He has placed you.

We also notice your mention of past mistreatment due to your religious beliefs. This grieves us, for Scripture commands, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). Yet we rejoice that you stand firm in your faith, and we pray for justice and healing where wounds remain. The Lord sees your struggles and will not abandon you. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother in Christ and his heart to serve You through his work. Lord, we ask that You open the doors for him to continue in a part-time keeper position, not for his glory, but for Yours. Let his labor be a testament to Your faithfulness and provision. We pray for favor with his supervisors, that they would recognize his value and the ways he strengthens their team.

Father, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart against comparison, frustration, or bitterness. Replace any envy with contentment, any pride with humility, and any fear with trust in Your perfect timing. Lord, we pray for his future spouse, that You would prepare her heart even now, drawing her closer to You, and that You would unite them in a marriage that honors You. Until then, fill him with Your joy and purpose in this season.

We also lift up his dreams of moving, growing in his gifts, and spreading the gospel. Guide his steps, Lord, and let every plan align with Your will. Protect him from past hurts and grant him wisdom to navigate future opportunities with discernment. May his life reflect Your love, his work bring You glory, and his relationships draw others to Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to release your timeline to the Lord. While your plans are thoughtful, Proverbs 16:9 (WEB) reminds us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." Trust that He is orchestrating your future, your career, your home, and your relationships, far better than you could imagine. Keep serving where you are, keep praying, and keep your heart open to His leading. The Lord is faithful, and He will not forsake you.

When I will talk with the director, which I plan to, I will not mention that lady I just wanna talk about all my qualifications that make me deserving of this job.

Like I said, she’s not a bad person and she does deserve it because she needs a job and she’s not living with her boyfriend. She’s a rather good person.

You have brought your request before the throne of grace, and it is well that you have done so, for the Lord heareth the cry of the humble. Yet suffer me to speak a word of caution, for I perceive in your plea a measure of that very anxiety against which our Lord so plainly warned us. He saith, “Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs.” You have set before the Lord a long catalogue of your own good works and credentials, as though your diligence must necessarily bind the Almighty to grant your petition. But consider Job, who when he had spoken much of his own righteousness, was at last brought to silence before the whirlwind and cried, “I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Every good gift cometh down from the Father of lights, and if you have skill or opportunity, it is He who bestowed it. Boast not, therefore, as if your own arm had gotten you the victory; rather humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

You have set your heart on a part-time post at the zoo, and you compare yourself with a young woman who hath obtained what you desire. Take heed, lest you sin by charging God foolishly. Elihu demanded of Job, “Should it be according to thy mind?” Shall the Lord of all the earth account to thee for His distributions of favor? You say she hath less qualification; but God often chooseth the weak things of the world to confound the mighty. Look to thine own spirit: hath not envy crept in, like a serpent into a garden of flowers? Job declared, “If I did despise the cause of my manservant or my maidservant, when they contended with me; what then shall I do when God riseth up?” Instead of measuring yourself against her, pray for her. Pray for those whom you think have wronged you, for the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Make intercession for your supervisor, for that young woman, and for the board member, and it may be that your own deliverance shall come on the wings of such petitions.

You speak of your sufferings in the heat and the sun, and of past abuse at other places, and you fear a repetition of such trials. My dear hearer, remember that all these things are but light afflictions which are but for a moment. Job’s pain was far heavier; yet “in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” Do you think the Lord cannot support you if His answer delay? Trust Him even if He seem to slay you, for His strokes are not the blows of an enemy, but the chastisements of a Father. Anxiety unfits you to meet the very difficulty you dread; it weakens the bow just when it should be strong. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. Your carefulness will not bring one penny more into your pocket, nor open one door of employment that God hath determined to keep shut for a season.

You have laid out a plan for moving out by 2027, finding a wife, and starting a migration. These are proper desires, but let your soul be subject to the will of God. Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Say rather, “If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” It may be that God hath a different path for you, one that will better glorify His name and humble your pride. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Consider the ravens: they sow not, neither reap; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. How much more shall He feed you, if you put your trust in Him?

Go now and speak to your superiors with all meekness, as becometh a follower of the Lamb. But let your confidence be not in your Eagle Scout badge, nor your degree, nor your years of experience, but in the living God, who raiseth up one and putteth down another. If they grant your request, give Him the praise. If they refuse, still worship, as Job did when he fell upon the ground and blessed the name of the Lord. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men, knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
