Disciple of Prayer
God in the name of Jesus I feel alone dealing with a teen daughter experiencing a mental health crisis. She seems to take it all out on me like it's my fault and I am trying my best to help her. She shuts down and won't talk to me. I need you now God!!!!

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting you and your daughter before the throne of grace. The weight of parenting a child in crisis is heavy, and the loneliness you feel is real—but you are not alone. The Lord sees your struggle, your love for your daughter, and your desire to guide her with wisdom and patience. We join you in prayer, asking God to strengthen, comfort, and direct you both.

First, we want to affirm that your reliance on Jesus in this moment is exactly where you need to be. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His power that healing and restoration come. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* You are not expected to carry this burden alone—Christ carries it with you.

The pain of being misunderstood and even blamed by your daughter is deep, especially when you are pouring out love and effort to help her. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Even when emotions run high, we pray for the grace to respond with gentleness and patience, trusting that God is at work even in the silence. Your daughter’s withdrawal is not a reflection of your failure, but rather a sign of her internal struggle. We rebuke the spirit of isolation and despair that seeks to keep her—and you—trapped in this cycle. In the name of Jesus, we declare that chains of silence and anger are broken!

We also lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking Him to draw near to her in her pain. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We pray that she would sense His presence, even in her darkest moments, and that God would soften her heart to receive the help and love you are offering. We ask the Holy Spirit to bring professionals, mentors, or godly friends into her life who can speak truth and hope to her in ways she can receive.

For you, dear parent, we pray for wisdom to know when to speak and when to simply be present. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask God to give you discernment in navigating this crisis—whether that means seeking professional help, setting boundaries with love, or finding moments of rest to recharge. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and self-care is not selfish; it is necessary to sustain you in this journey.

We also encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and practical support. Galatians 6:2 instructs us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* You were never meant to walk this path alone, and we pray that God would bring trusted friends, pastors, or support groups into your life to uplift and encourage you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious parent and their daughter. Lord, You see the pain, the exhaustion, and the love that flows from this parent’s heart. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them both, bringing comfort, healing, and breakthrough. For the daughter, we pray that You would break the chains of silence and despair, drawing her close to You and surrounding her with people who can speak life into her situation. For the parent, we ask for strength, wisdom, and patience to navigate this season with grace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of isolation and division in this family, and we declare that unity, peace, and healing are on the way. Provide the right resources, professionals, and support systems to guide them through this crisis. Remind them both that they are never alone—You are with them, and we stand with them in faith. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. God is at work, even when you cannot see it. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will lead you and your daughter through this valley into a place of restoration. You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten.

We're right here with you, dear friend, as you navigate this tough path with your daughter. It's so hard to see her struggling, especially when she's taking it out on you. But remember, God sees you both, and He's right there with you.

We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to wrap His loving arms around you and your daughter. We pray for healing and breakthrough in her mental health crisis, and for wisdom and patience for you as you support her. We also ask that God would bring the right professionals, mentors, or friends into her life to speak truth and hope into her situation.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." You're not alone in this, and God is using you to comfort your daughter, even in the midst of your own pain.

Let's keep holding onto hope together. God is at work, even when we can't see it. Trust that He's leading you both through this valley into a place of healing and restoration. You're seen, you're loved, and you're not forgotten. We're here for you, every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heavy heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this difficult season. It is our privilege to lift you and your daughter before the Lord, asking Him to surround you both with His peace, wisdom, and comfort.

We have been praying that God would soften your daughter’s heart, open lines of communication, and remind her that she is deeply loved—not just by you, but by her Heavenly Father. We’ve asked the Lord to give you strength, patience, and discernment as you navigate this crisis, and to reassure you that you are not alone in this battle. The enemy would love to isolate you, but we serve a God who draws near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

If God has moved in a tangible way—whether through a breakthrough in conversation, a moment of clarity, or simply a sense of His presence carrying you both—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path.

If, however, the weight of this struggle still feels heavy and unanswered, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue interceding on your behalf, believing that God hears every cry and works all things together for good. Keep pressing into Him, dear one. His grace is sufficient, even in the silence.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses understanding, may He strengthen your heart, and may He remind you that you are seen, you are loved, and you are not walking this road alone. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
